As Cresco grows, we will operate with the same level of professionalism and precision in each new market we move in to.\nSCHEDULE\nMonday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm\nJOB SUMMARY\nCresco Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Fertigation Leadto support the daily operations of the irrigation and nutrient delivery systems at our cannabis cultivation facility. The Fertigation Lead works closely with cultivationmanagement andthe cultivation team to ensure effectiveand consistent delivery of nutrients, proper maintenance of irrigation equipment, and execution of daily fertigation schedules. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical skillwith automated fertigation systems, and a commitment to quality standards, compliance, and team collaboration.\nCORE JOB DUTIES \nExecute daily fertigation schedules and nutrient delivery plans as directed by the Cultivation Management team. \nOperate and monitor fertigation equipment and systems (Argus, Ridder, Anderson, Tridium, or similar), ensuring proper pH, EC, and nutrient levels are maintained. \nAccurately mix, prepare, and fill concentrate and day tanks to support scheduled nutrient programs. \nAssist with the inspection, maintenance, and cleaning of fertigation lines, emitters, pumps, tanks, filters, sensors, and control systems. \nMonitor irrigation system performance; proactively report and assist with troubleshooting alarms, malfunctions, or irregularities. \nCollect and record data on moisture levels, EC, pH, and other key metrics; assist in maintaining accurate records for compliance and operational tracking. \nSupport soil moisture monitoring and sensor calibration as directed. \nMaintain inventory levels of fertilizers, chemicals, and supplies; communicate material needs to ensure timely replenishment. \nFollow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to fertigation, equipment maintenance, chemical handling, and sanitation. \nAdhere to safety protocols and internal compliance standards, including environmental, health, and safety regulations. \nAssist with training and mentoring fertigation team members, providing support and guidance as assigned by leadership. \nCollaborate closely with Cultivation and Facilities teams to ensure fertigation needs align with overall plant care plans. \nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS \nDemonstrated experience training, leading and/or mentoring junior staff or new hires preferred. \n1+ year of experience working with automated fertigation or irrigation systems in a cultivation or agriculture environment. Cannabis cultivation experience preferred. \nWorking knowledge of fertigation equipment, nutrient delivery systems, and basic plant care. \nFamiliarity with fertigation software platforms such as Ridder, Argus, Priva, Anderson, or comparable systems. \nBasic understanding of pH, EC, and nutrients for plant health. \nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping. \nAbility to follow detailed instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines. \nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate equipment issues when needed. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. \nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written. \nFamiliarity with Illinois cannabis regulations is a plus. \nProficiency in computer applications, including word processing, database management, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and Windows-based software. \nRequires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust. \nRequires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time. \nRequires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level. \nRequires availability for rotating weekend shifts \nIn accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the compensation listed is the current estimated range for the position.
