The business is committed to continuous improvement as per the transformation strategy, Project Elevate, in place since the Group’s 2025 capital markets day.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant to join a high-profile Group Finance team within a FTSE-listed business. The role offers broad exposure across financial planning, analysis, reporting and business partnering, working closely with the business, senior finance leadership and executive stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and drive process improvement.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the Group Head of FP&A in analysing and communicating the key drivers of business performance through the monthly forecasting and reporting processes.\nAssist with the production of high-quality monthly management analysis, including variance analysis against budget and prior forecast, KPIs and commentary.\nSupport continuous improvement within financial reporting by developing a good understanding of the forecasting process and the systems and processes involved.\nPartner with key stakeholders across the business, including Executive Board members, central department heads and divisional management teams, to support performance analysis and decision-making.\nContribute to the Half Year and Full year process as required.\nSupport the ongoing development and enhancement of Anaplan, COINS and other finance systems.\nRequired Skills & Experience:\nACA, ACCA or CIMA finalist, recently qualified or equivalent experience\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nStrong interest in finance systems, data analytics and process improvement.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.\nFP&A, group finance and/or audit experience\nWell organised, capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines\nSystems: Advanced Excel (PivotTables, financial modelling), COINS* and Anaplan*\nIndustry knowledge*\n*advantageous but not required\nWhat We Offer:\nA challenging and rewarding role within a listed FTSE environment.\nOpportunity to influence reporting, forecasting and business performance processes.\nOpportunities for career progression and professional development.\nA supportive and collaborative work environment.\nCompetitive salary and benefits.\nThe Company\nOur people are at the heart of our business, and we’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued, supported and able to thrive.\nWe welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and recognise that everyone has different needs outside of work too.
