You will administer core infrastructure, solve complex technical problems, automate repetitive work, and maintain the documentation and controls required for stable operations.\nThis role is suited to a systems expert who works independently, moves quickly, and expects technical decisions to be supported by logic, evidence, and defined standards.\nWhat You’ll Own\nAdminister Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Entra\nMaintain hybrid infrastructure across VMware, Azure IaaS, and on-premises environments\nManage identity, access, conditional-access policies, permissions, and Okta integrations\nConfigure endpoints, compliance policies, applications, and software deployments using Intune and Workspace ONE\nExecute upgrades, patching, migrations, backups, recovery testing, and system retirements\nMonitor system health, investigate alerts, and resolve root causes\nUse PowerShell, APIs, and automation to improve reliability and reduce manual work\nMaintain accurate system configurations, network records, procedures, and compliance documentation\nSupport infrastructure modernization, lifecycle planning, and platform optimization\nManage tickets, changes, and service commitments in accordance with ITIL practices\nIdentify security, reliability, licensing, and capacity risks before they affect the business\nWhat Success Looks Like\nSystems remain stable, secure, current, and recoverable\nTechnical issues are resolved accurately and at the root-cause level\nChanges are tested, documented, and implemented with minimal disruption\nRepetitive processes are standardized or automated\nLeadership receives clear, evidence-based recommendations on risk, cost, and system improvements\nRequired Experience\n3-7 years of systems-administration experience in a Windows enterprise environment\nStrong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, and Entra\nExperience with VMware or Azure-based virtual infrastructure\nExperience managing endpoints through Intune or Workspace ONE\nWorking knowledge of identity security, access controls, backup, recovery, and monitoring\nPowerShell scripting or comparable automation experience\nAbility to diagnose complex issues and make sound technical decisions independently\nStrong documentation practices and attention to configuration accuracy\nPreferred Experience\nOkta administration and SaaS provisioning\nAPI-based integrations and SaaS connectors\nExchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power BI, and Power Automate\nVeeam, PRTG, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, or Zendesk\nInfrastructure migrations, modernization, or cloud-transition projects\nITIL v4 Foundation certification\nMicrosoft, Azure, VMware, Okta, Network+, or Security+ certifications\nTechnical Environment\nWindows Server 2012-2022 | Active Directory | Group Policy | Microsoft 365 | Entra | Azure IaaS | VMware vSphere | Intune | Workspace ONE | Okta | PowerShell | Veeam | PRTG | SolarWinds\nWhy Join Crest Operations?\nYou will have meaningful ownership of a diverse technical environment and the opportunity to improve how it operates.
