You will work closely with cross-functional teams to review requirements, develop new features, optimize performance, and ensure seamless integration with hardware components.\n\nResponsibilities\nDevelopment and maintenance of current software including feature enhancements, performance improvements, troubleshooting, testing, and bug fixing for streaming solutions across multiple platforms.\nDocument firmware architecture and design specifications.\nIntegrate and maintain 3rd party applications on multiple platforms.\nConduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.\nDevelop and execute validation and testing procedures for firmware.\nEnsure firmware meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.\n5-7 years of experience in firmware development for embedded Linux/Android systems.\nExperience in C, C++/Java or other object-oriented programming languages\nExperience w/Embedded Linux/Android\nExperience in networking protocols, TCP, UDP, HTTP, etc\nExperience developing and debugging Android Apps and Services\nExperience with video or graphics software systems (VAAPI, gstreamer, ffmpeg, OpenMAX, OpenGL, etc.)\nExperience with video and audio streaming protocols (RTP, RTSP, etc.), codecs (H.264/H265, VP9 etc.)\nExperience with Android framework customization\nExcellent problem solving, critical thinking, communication skills and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment \nAbility to prioritize competing projects and deliver with confidence in a fast-paced environment\n\nPer applicable state requirements, the annual pay range for this position ($107,500 - $173,500) which consists of base salary (subject to performance), reflects the hiring range for candidates.
