Together, AC Corp and Crete United are committed to strengthening the communities we serve and building a more sustainable future.\nWe are looking for a Piping Foreman to supervise and coordinate activities of the craft personnel engaged in the piping department.\nTypical Duties\nThoroughly review scope documents, drawings, and specifications.\nStudy project execution and tracking documents including the project execution plan, project safety plan, QA/QC plan, schedule, and man loading projections.\nParticipate in project kick-off and team building activities.\nEnsure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.\nInterface with Superintendent to ensure all company, client, and project policies and procedures are adhered to.\nInterface with all project team members as required in the establishment of project schedules and resolving schedule problems.\nProvide leadership and management for craftsmen and organize/lay out work for crews.\nEnsure that materials, drawings, manpower, specifications, tools, consumables, and equipment are available when needed.\nProvide prioritized work activity instructions to all crews and monitor their progress.\nAssist with the implementation/interpretation of safety programs.\nVerification of maintaining ASME, ANSI and associated codes as required per project.\nMentor craft personnel for professional development.\nDetermine training needs of craft personnel and assist them in obtaining that training.\nQualifications\nFive (5) years of formal training and experience as a foreman in heavy industrial projects.\nFamiliar with piping for AHU's, boilers, coil packages, brazing and soldering copper, rigging, cranes, lulls and MEWPs\nAbility to read and interpret blue prints and drawings\nFamiliar with construction methods, techniques, and labor requirements and how they apply to industrial construction projects.\nAbility to effectively interact with project team members, clients, subcontractors, and craft employees.\nPossess excellent leadership skills and can effectively manage craft employees.\nKnowledge of OSHA safety rules, OSHA 30 preferred\nAbility to use MS Office to include Outlook email\nValid drivers license is required\nWhy Join AC Corporation?\nCompetitive pay based on experience- - $35-$44/hour DOE\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nCompany-paid life, short- and long-term disability insurance\n 401(k) with 100% match up to 4%\nPaid time off and 8 paid holidays\nCompany vehicle provided\nGrowth and advancement opportunities with a respected MEP leader\nAC Corporation is an equal opportunity employer, considering all applicants for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, marital status, physical disability, sexual orientation, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by state of federal law.
