This role leads the machine maintenance team, develops preventive and predictive maintenance programs, minimizes equipment downtime, and ensures machines operate efficiently and safely.\nResponsibilities\nManage and supervise machine maintenance technicians and contractors.\nLead the implementation, standardization, and continuous improvement of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.\nEnsure PM activities are properly scheduled, assigned, completed on time, documented, and verified for effectiveness.\nMonitor overdue PM work and maintenance backlog, identify resource or scheduling constraints, and escalate risks to production equipment availability.\nPeriodically review PM tasks and frequencies to eliminate ineffective work, address recurring failures, and improve equipment reliability.\nSchedule and prioritize maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.\nTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment issues.\nEstablish and enforce Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) work-order standards, including accurate problem descriptions, failure classifications, corrective actions, labor hours, parts used, and work-order closure.\nMaintain accurate equipment hierarchies, asset information, PM schedules, critical spare-parts records, and equipment maintenance history within the CMMS.\nUse CMMS and machine-performance data to track KPIs, identify recurring failures, prioritize reliability improvements, and support maintenance planning.\nManage spare parts, tools, maintenance supplies, and inventory.\nCoordinate equipment installation, modification, and commissioning projects.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and applicable regulations.\nDevelop maintenance procedures, checklists, and standard operating procedures.\nWork closely with Facilities Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Safety departments.\nTrain and develop machine maintenance personnel.\nManage machine maintenance budgets and identify opportunities to reduce operating costs.\nEvaluate vendors, contractors, and service providers.\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n7+ years of advanced industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience\n2+ years of maintenance supervisory or management experience \nStrong working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) administration, work-order management, equipment history, PM scheduling, maintenance backlog management, and KPI reporting\nExperience using equipment failure and maintenance data to prioritize corrective actions and reliability improvements\nStrong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial automation\nExperience with preventive/predictive maintenance and CMMS systems\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills\nAbility to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals\nStrong knowledge of workplace safety and maintenance best practices\nMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)\nClear and effective verbal and written communication skills \nAttention to detail\nOrganizational skills \nAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment\nAbility to prioritize and multitask\nMust be able to walk, stand, climb stairs/ladders, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs\nStandard manufacturing environment with regular time spent on the manufacturing floor\nPeriodic availability on nights, weekends, and holidays for emergency response\nPay Range\nUSD $100,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.Pay Range Details\nThis pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
