Learn more at www.cretexmedical.com.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Quality Engineering Technician will be responsible for assisting Quality Engineers in providing quality assurance support for manufacturing, improving quality related practices and procedures, problem solving, and providing technical guidance and measurement methodologies.\nResponsibilities\nPartner in the development of the APQP process and project management\nAssist in the development of PFMEA\nSupport the development and implementation of control plans\nAssist in the development and implementation of Gage R&R and capability studies\nSupport the implementation of IQ, OQ, PQ documentation\nAssist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of inspection methods for first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspection\nDesign inspection fixturing and gaging\nAssist the investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action activities to support the CAPA and Customer Complaint systems\nPerform routine inspection activities on the floor\nSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements\nRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work\nPartner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance\nUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serve\nQualifications\nAssociate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience\nKnowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards\nIntermediate blueprint reading, GD&T and SPC knowledge \nAbility to operate a variety of inspection equipment\nDesign software- Minitab\nAbility to cross train in other areas of production when required\nMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)\nClear and effective verbal and written communication skills \nAttention to detail\nOrganizational skills \nAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment\nAbility to prioritize and multitask\nDesired Qualifications\n5 years of experience in machining and or manufacturing\nWhat is it like to work at Cretex Medical?\nWe recognize the contribution of every individual and promote growth, safety and security for all our employees. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
