Learn more at www.cretexmedical.com.\nQuality Inspector Position Summary\nThe Quality Inspector performs first piece, in-process inspections, and final inspections of components and assemblies per control/quality plans. The Quality Inspector will review and approve final release documentation. Performs incoming inspections per control/quality plans for received materials. This role will also complete appropriate quality records within company and GMP guidelines, policies and procedures.\nShifts Available:\n7th shift - Monday - Wednesday and every other Sunday from 6:00 pm - 6:30 am\nResponsibilities\nInspection of injection molded parts relating to quality, appearance and performance \nInspection of assemblies relating to quality, appearance and performance \nInspection of received materials relating to quality, appearance and performance \nInspection and audit of final product documentation prior to release \nDetermine reasons for defects \nRead and understand quality control plans, blueprints and specifications \nCheck parts dimensionally by using precision testing equipment, including Tool Scope, CMM, OGP and various other metrology tools and equipment \nEffective organizational, oral and written communication skills \nRead and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists \nAccurately records and reports hours worked \nMaintain an organized work area (5S) to include workstations, equipment, walkways, and locker areas \nParticipate in the Operational Excellence Program \nUnderstand and comply with the Cretex professional competencies, company policies, and employee manual \nAdhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when required \nSupport and complies with the company's Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements \nComplete all other work duties as assigned \nQualifications\nBasic knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance \nRead and comprehend customer supplied drawings and specifications \nCommunicate inspection results with team members \nManage multiple requirements and deadlines \nQuickly shift priorities in support of production inspection needs \nHigh school diploma or equivalent degree (GED) \nExperience with measuring instruments, methods and practices including hand tools and machine devices including CMM and Vision Systems \nBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) \nAbility to read, comprehend, follow and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents \nMechanical aptitude \nDexterity and hand and eye coordination \nAttention to detail \nStrong problem-solving skills \nAbility to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks \nQuality Inspector Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities\nKnowledge of ISO 9001/13485 \nQuality training/certifications \nWhat is it like to work at Cretex Medical?\nWe recognize the contribution of every individual and promote growth, safety and security for all our employees. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
