Learn more at www.rmsmachining.com and www.cretexmedical.com.\nQuality Inspector Position Summary\nThe Quality Inspector supports the production floor & reports to the Production Supervisor, ensuring product compliance to quality and industry specifications.\n1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 3:30pm\nResponsibilities\nQuality Inspector Responsibilities:\nInspection of received materials, components, and assemblies relating to quality, appearance, and performance\nInterpret and accurately document the results of the inspections and testing \nReport and isolate non-conforming product \nUse a variety of inspection measurement tools and gages (Micrometer, Caliper, Gage Pins, Indicators, Thread Gages, Profilometer, Optical Comparator, Microscopes)\nOperate various precision testing equipment including but not limited to Tool Scope, CMM, and Vision systems\nSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements\nRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work\nPartner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance\nUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serve\nEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly\nParticipate in required company meetings \nMaintain an organized work area (5S)\nParticipate in the Operational Excellence Program \nComplete all other work duties as assigned\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment\nQualifications\nRequirements/Qualifications:\nBasic knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance\nAbility to work from customer supplied drawings and specifications\nAbility to communicate inspection results with team members\nAbility to quickly shift priorities in support of production inspection needs\nManage multiple requirements and deadlines \nMechanical Aptitude\nDexterity and hand and eye coordination\nAbility to use a microscope and hand tools\nAbility to cross train in other areas of production when required\nMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)\nClear and effective verbal and written communication skills \nAttention to detail\nOrganizational skills \nAbility to work in a fast-paced team environment\nAbility to prioritize and multitask\nDesirable Requirements/Qualifications:\n1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment\nExperience with measuring instruments, methods and practices including hand tools and machine devices including CMM and Vision Systems\nKnowledge of ISO 9001/13485\nQuality training/certifications \nrms Company Benefits\nAs a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.\nPay Range\nUSD $18.22 - USD $25.53 /Hr.Pay Range Details\nThis pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions.
