The role involves strategic planning, process optimization, supplier management, purchasing and contract negotiations of raw material, subcontract services and MRO and risk mitigation to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives. The position is also responsible for managing the supply chain team.\nResponsibilities\nEssential Job Functions\nSupply Chain Leader Specific\nDevelop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance throughout the supply chain network.\nOwn the S&OP process from costumer PO acknowledge to resources planification and on time delivery.\nOptimize inventory management processes, including demand planning, inventory control, and stock replenishment, to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and carrying costs.\nManage supplier relationships and vendor contracts, negotiating terms, pricing, and service agreements to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement of goods and services\nIdentify opportunities for procurement improvements and implement strategies to achieve them\nBroaden and deepen relationships with existing and new suppliers while driving efficiency and cost reductions\nProvide leadership for supplier development efforts to optimize value and quality excellence to support our growth efforts into the medical market segments\nDrive continuous improvement throughout all processes of the Supply Chain\nSelect vendors who will provide consistently superior quality and delivery\nImprove and maintain proper supplier quality controls\nDrive inventory reductions through the creation of Kanban, supplier managed inventory and inventory consignment programs\nManage raw material, WIP and finished goods inventories to provide competitive lead times for our customers while minimizing our investment and risk\nDevelop and recommend purchasing policies for the organization\nManage the accurate register and maintenance of records of purchase, delivery dates, vendors, costs and other resources\nProvide leadership and mentorship to supply chain staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, development, and collaboration within the team.\nSupervise the day-to day activities of the planning, purchasing, warehouse and logistic team, including performance plan definition and review\nMonitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, such as inventory turnover, on-time delivery, fill rates, and lead times, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.\nImplement supply chain risk management strategies, assessing potential risks, vulnerabilities, and disruptions, and developing contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions\nAssess and improve written procedures and SOP’s related to supply chain function of the Company\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, import/export regulations, and customs procedures related to supply chain operations, maintaining documentation and records as necessary.\nCommunicate supply chain goals, objectives, and performance metrics to senior management and key stakeholders, presenting regular updates, reports, and recommendations.\nDrive sustainability and corporate social responsibility initiatives within the supply chain, promoting ethical sourcing, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility practices.\nCompany General Job Function\nParticipate and drive programs essential to company success (e.g., training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc,)\nMonitor the utilization of employee safety and OE programs\nSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements\nRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work\nPartner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance\nUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serve\nEnsure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly\nParticipate in required company meetings\nMaintain an organized work area (5S)\nParticipate in the Operational Excellence Program\nComplete all other work duties as assigned\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment\nQualifications\nMinimum Requirements, Education & Experience (incl.
