This role will ensure the proper installation and operation of CREW’s deployments. In this role, you will lead end-to-end project management to ensure budget and timelines are met; support implementation, commissioning, and operations at wastewater facilities; and manage wastewater partners, suppliers/vendors, and engineering services firms. This position is a full-time role, with travel expectations to wastewater partners across the U.S.\nResponsibilities\nLead end-to-end project management, including creating and maintaining timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple operational sites.\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operation teams to ensure successful installation and performance of CREW’s technology.\n\nManage vendor and contractor relationships, including procurement and supply chain logistics for hardware components, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.\n\nPrepare project deliverables including scope of work, request for proposal, cost estimates, schedules, presentations, and other related engineering project documentation.\n\nDevelop detailed work plans, including engineering specifications and execution planning.\n\nConduct and manage fieldwork associated with design and construction services which includes but is not limited to: construction inspection, basic process piping installation, training, commissioning, startup.\n\nServicing of deployments which includes but is not limited to: follow-up support with on-site operators, coordination with equipment vendors or suppliers.\n\nExperience Requirements\nBachelors in chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, or mechanical engineering (or similar field).\n\n4-8 years of experience in civil engineering, construction management, mechanical engineering or technical project management.\n\nStrong writing, project management, and communication skills.\n\nHands-on and detail oriented approach when delivering projects.\n\nFinancial acumen, including budget building, and cost control.\n\nExperience sourcing and overseeing subcontractors and ensuring they deliver on project requirements.\n\nStartup mindset where adaptability, creativity, agility, and execution are keys to success.\n\nAble to travel 30-60%.\n\nCapable of lifting up to 50 pounds and comfortable using power and hand tools..\n\nValid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.\n\nYou practice extreme ownership (no task is too small).\n\nYou love being in the trenches with your team and working with high empathy.\n\nYou have a growth mindset.\n\nBonus qualifications\nExperience with design, procurement, and construction of materials handling and dosing systems.\n\nProficiency in CAD software for engineering or product design (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Fusion, etc).\n\nUnderstanding of water and wastewater treatment systems.\n\nExperience with sensor, monitoring systems and automation controls.\n\nProficient in standard project management software (ex: Asana, Ganttpro, Smartsheets, Monday or similar)\n\nCompensation\nCompensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of the total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity through the form of option grants, flexible paid time off, 401(k) plan, well equipped office environment, and health benefits offerings.\nThe expected base salary range for this role is $90,000-$150,000.
