Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to operate and maintain offshore lifting equipment safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out lifting operations, handling cargo and materials, and ensuring all crane activities comply with offshore safety standards and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate offshore cranes to lift, move, and position cargo, equipment, and materials safely.
• Conduct pre-use inspections and routine operational checks on cranes and lifting equipment.
• Execute lifting operations in accordance with approved lift plans and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with deck crews, riggers, banksmen, and other personnel during lifting operations.
• Monitor weather conditions and sea states to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Identify and report equipment defects, faults, and potential safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate crane operation logs and inspection records.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and emergency drills.
• Ensure lifting operations are conducted safely and efficiently in a demanding offshore environment.

Requirements

• Relevant crane operator qualifications and certifications.
• Proven experience operating cranes in an offshore environment.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, load charts, and crane safety procedures.
• Experience handling offshore cargo and equipment.
• Good communication, situational awareness, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid offshore safety certifications as required for the position.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an offshore team.
