You will keep the books accurate and current, manage payables and receivables, process payroll, and respond to vendor questions promptly and professionally.\nThis role suits someone with hands-on bookkeeping experience who is equally comfortable handling vendor communication and reconciling accounts. You will support the monthly close, prepare regular reports on cash and balances owed, and organize records for external accountants and auditors when needed.\nKey Responsibilities\nEnter and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online and keep the books accurate and up to date\nReconcile bank and credit card accounts, and flag and resolve discrepancies\nProcess and track vendor bills and payments, keeping payment schedules organized so vendors are paid on time\nPrepare and send invoices, track open balances, and follow up on late payments\nProcess payroll for employees and contractors, track contractor payments, and answer pay-related questions\nTrack costs and payments by project or order\nRespond to vendor emails about payment status promptly and professionally, and keep vendor records and contact details current\nPrepare weekly and monthly reports on amounts owed to vendors, amounts owed by customers, and cash on hand\nSupport the monthly close with the fractional CFO\nFlag unusual spending, late payments, or anything that looks off\nPrepare records and documents for external accountants or auditors when requested\nQualifications\nAt least 3 years of bookkeeping experience\nHands-on experience with QuickBooks Online\nExperience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable\nExperience answering vendor or client emails\nExperience processing payroll for employees and contractors\nExcellent written and verbal English communication skills\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nResponsive and proactive, especially in replying to emails or chats\nAble to work independently with minimal supervision\nExperience in furniture, construction, or real estate (preferred)\nRequirements\nMinimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:\nInternet Connection:\nPrimary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.\nBackup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.\nBackup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.\nPrimary Device:\nDesktop or laptop equipped with at least:\n Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.\nA minimum of 8 GB RAM.\nBackup Device:\nMust meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.\nMust be functional during power interruptions.\nPeripherals and Workspace:\nA functioning webcam.\nA noise-canceling USB headset.\nA quiet, dedicated home office space.\nA smartphone for communication and verification purposes\nBenefits\nJoin Our Dynamic Team: Experience our fun, inclusive, innovative culture that values your unique contributions and supports your professional growth.\nEmbrace the Opportunities: Seize daily chances to learn, innovate, and excel.
