The role drives data quality and reliability, mentorsother engineers, and partners across teams. It exists to deliver trustworthy, performant data systems at the scale Crexi’sproducts require. \nWhat You'll Do:\nDesigns, builds, and owns scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows and the underlying data models. \n\nDrives data quality, reliability, observability, and performance across data systems. \n\nPartners with analytics, ML, software, and product teams to deliver data for products and insights. \n\nOwns data infrastructure and orchestration and improves CI/CD for data workflows. \n\nIntegrates AI-assisted development tools into the team’s workflow to improve quality and velocity, and contributes to evaluating AI-powered capabilities in Crexi’s products. \n\nLeads resolution of complex data issues and improves system reliability. \n\nMentors engineers and contributes to data engineering standards. \n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. \n4+ years of data engineering experience, including ownership of scalable pipelines and models. \n\nStrong proficiency with SQL and a data-engineering language (e.g., Python), plus pipeline/orchestration tools. \n\nExperience designing scalable data models and cloud data platforms (e.g., warehouse/lakehouse). \n\nWho You Are:\nSolid grasp of data quality, observability, and performance optimization. \nSound judgment using AI-assisted development tools. \nAbility to mentor and elevate other engineers. \nThrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. \nExceptional communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. \nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify patterns, and present insights clearly and accurately. \nExcellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously. \nSelf-starter who independently owns their own success and demonstrates strong initiative. \nResponsive, action-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues. \nStrong problem-solving and creative thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate options and implement effective solutions. \n\nEffective collaborator and team player, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong working relationships. \n\nDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost professionalism and discretion. \n\nWhy Crexi?\nReal impact, fast.
