Contributions to product definition and development methodology are also required.\nDuties/Activities:\nDesign and development of mixed analog & digital circuits for new products.\nDesign motor control circuits for both stepper and servo motors, solenoids, sensors, etc.\nDevelop HW interfaces for Wi-Fi, USB, Bluetooth, and other wireless communications\nSpecify and select microcontrollers and other board level components.\nDevelop the PCB schematic, layout and fabrication/assembly files.\nDevelop ICT and FCT test plans\nEnsure products pass EMI testing per FCC and CE requirements\nMeet applicable UL and CE safety standards\nOversee start of production on electrical systems\nTroubleshoot and resolve warranty return issues\nAlong with technical skills and abilities, critical traits of the successful Senior Electrical Engineer at Cricut include results oriented and creative; proactive, strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills; with entrepreneurial leanings. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team oriented, cross-functional, and highly dynamic environment, meeting customer commitments and program deadlines.\n Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.\nAt least 5+ years experience in digital/analog board design\nExperience with consumer electronics, especially electro-mechanical devices\nSystematic design process\nExperience with board-level debug & bring-up\nExperience with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi systems\nPreferred Skills:\nRF Design of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip down designs.\nFamiliar with rechargeable battery circuit design and safety\nProficient in C/C++\nProficiency at solving problems in a timely manner\nAbility to define critical project criteria to ensure completion\nAbility to draw solutions from both formal training and experience\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment\nProficient in use of Multi-meter, O-Scope and other troubleshooting devices\n We’ve got you covered\nAt Cricut, we take care of our people.
