This senior-level position assumes primary responsibility for files following settlement, verdict, or other resolution, managing the entire post-settlement lifecycle through final distribution and file closure. The role requires independent judgment, sophisticated lien and medical-bill analysis, strong organizational skills, and effective coordination with clients, attorneys, lienholders, and accounting personnel to ensure timely and compliant resolutions.\nWhat you’ll do:\nFile Review: Immediately review the settlement files upon transfer to identify and manage outstanding requirements.\nLien & Medical Bill Resolution: Identify, verify, audit, and resolve outstanding medical bills, provider balances, liens, and reimbursement claims, including Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, workers' compensation, governmental benefits, and other applicable statutory obligations.
