The Account Executive develops new business opportunities, conducts in-person sales presentations, secures advertising agreements, and maintains relationships with existing and prospective advertisers through regular face-to-face meetings at customer locations.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n(General overview and may include all details of responsibilities)\nDUTIES:\nOutside Sales and Business Development\nDevelop new advertising revenue through direct, in-person solicitation of prospective advertisers, agencies, and business decision-makers.\nConduct regular face-to-face sales calls with existing and prospective customers at their places of business and other customer-selected locations. \nObtain advertising contracts, advertising commitments, sponsorship agreements, and related revenue-producing business opportunities. \nMeet or exceed established goals for new business development, account growth, and revenue generation. \nIdentify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, customer visits, referrals, networking activities, and community engagement. \nConduct advertising presentations and proposal meetings with prospective and existing customers. \nMaintain and expand relationships with local businesses, advertising agencies, chambers of commerce, nonprofit organizations, churches, and community leaders to generate advertising revenue. \nRepresent CRISTA Media at business, networking, and community events for the purpose of developing new advertising opportunities and cultivating customer relationships. \nDevelop integrated marketing and advertising solutions that address customer business objectives and generate revenue for CRISTA Media. \nConduct recurring account reviews and renewal meetings with advertisers to secure continued and expanded advertising commitments. \nTravel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers, prospects, referral sources, and advertising partners. \nSales Administration\nPrepare sales proposals, presentations, advertising recommendations, and related customer materials.\nAccurately complete contracts, orders, production requests, and related sales documentation.\nMaintain customer and prospect activity records within CRM systems and other required platforms.\nSubmit reports, forecasts, and sales activity updates in a timely manner.\nCoordinate internally with traffic, production, promotions, and business office personnel to ensure fulfillment of customer commitments.\nCollect and assist in resolving customer billing and payment matters as necessary.\nParticipate in required sales meetings, training, and professional development activities.\nOther\nPerform other duties as assigned in support of revenue generation and customer relationship development. \nConduct that reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).\nSUPERVISORY RESPOBISIBILITES\nNone\n\nESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS\nCHRIST CENTERED\nBelief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. \nIs a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc.). \nPrayerfully seeks God’s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA. \nEngages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices. \nAffirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).\nConducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).\nDemonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader. \nEDUCATION Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Regular and recurring in-person meetings with customers and prospective customers away from CRISTA Media facilities are an essential function of the role. The primary duty of the position is obtaining advertising sales and customer commitments through direct sales activity conducted at customer locations and in the community.
