Accommodate the variety of needs for residents at Cristwood Park. Answer phone calls to Crista Senior Community (CSC) and all of CRISTA Ministries as needed.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\n(General overview and may not include all details of responsibilities)\nRespond to smoke alarms, and handle/refer as appropriate.\nAct as greeter and facilitator courteously and professionally for residents, family members/advocates, visitors and vendors who call or enter Cristwood Park.\nEnsure that all visitors/vendors sign in and out of buildings. Respond to alarms; handle/triage for fire and disaster.\nMeet and/or refer all needs presented (copying, faxing, selling stamps, mailing packages, scheduling guest apartment, elevator pads, roll-away beds, etc.) by residents of CS.\nAccurately maintain petty cash and record, coordinate and track maintenance requests.\nRegister, confirm and/or cancel events/bus trip reservations for CS residents.\nMaintain information systems and collaborate with HIPAA Privacy Officer to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality regulations at reception desk and within CSC.\nProvide administrative support and assistance to the Administrator, Business Office Manager and Admissions Coordinator.\nKeep Administrator and CS Leadership Team informed of information and situations relevant to the safety and status of residents at Cristwood Park.\nAssist with daily mail distribution. Assemble and mail packets to potential residents as requested.\nComplete shift documentation in receptionist log, initiate incident reports and provide forms for transfers to hospitals/other facilities.\nCheck all keys in and out for staff, vendors, and residents.\nPrepare resident monthly payments for deposit.\nWork collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and customers.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nConduct that reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).\nESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS\nCHRIST CENTERED\nBelief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. \nIs a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc.). \nPrayerfully seeks God’s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA. \nEngages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices. \nAffirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).\nConducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC).\nDemonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader. \nEDUCATION\nHigh school graduate or equivalent.\nEXPERIENCE\nWorking as a receptionist and/or customer service representative.\nWorking in an office environment with continual interruptions while coordinating with residents and team members.\nBookkeeping, light typing.\nSOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE\nMicrosoft Office\nMP2 work order entry\nOTHER CONSIDERATIONS\nGood interpersonal and organizational skills.\nAble to communicate with seniors in a positive, courteous, confidential and professional manner\nAble to handle fast-paced environment.\nGood judgment in responding to routine, urgent and emergent requests and situations.\nAble to maintain detailed, neat and accurate documentation on daily shift log.\nEnjoy working with seniors. · Ability to pass background checks relating to DSHS Secretary’s List of Crimes and Negative Actions.
