This role combines technical expertise, engineering execution, and cross-functional collaboration.\nPartner with Product and Platform teams to design and build secure systems and services\n\nAct as a trusted security advisor, guiding teams on secure design, threat modelling, and vulnerability management\n\nIdentify, assess, prioritise, and help remediate application security risks across the organisation\n\nContribute hands-on to security initiatives, including architecture reviews, security tooling, automation, and incident response activities\n\nHelp define and evolve security standards, best practices, and KPIs to continuously improve the security posture of your domain\n\nDrive the adoption of security-by-design and shift-left security practices throughout the software development lifecycle\n\nLead complex technical projects and security initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple teams\n\nSupport security awareness efforts by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and promoting secure engineering practices across the organisation\n\nCollaborate with Security, Product, and Platform teams to improve security processes, tooling, and operational excellence\n\nWho You Are:\nYou bring experience in Security Engineering, or have significantly contributed to application or product security initiatives in previous roles\n\nYou have a background in Product Engineering or SRE / Platform Engineering and a strong understanding of modern software development practices\n\nYou have experience leading complex technical projects and driving cross-functional initiatives in large-scale environments\n\nYou are comfortable acting as a subject matter expert on security topics and advising teams on risks, trade-offs, and best practices\n\nYou have experience securing distributed systems, cloud-native environments, and modern application architectures\n\nYou enjoy combining hands-on engineering, problem-solving, and technical leadership\n\nYou influence without authority, building trust and alignment across diverse stakeholders and teams\n\nYou demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and sound judgement when handling sensitive security topics\n\nYou are passionate about improving security through scalable solutions, automation, and collaboration\n\nWe acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above.
