You'll support our Business Operations team with facilities and hospitality needs, general administrative requests, and ad hoc requests as needed. This is a hands-on role for a student or someone early in their career who is organized, detail-oriented, and wants to learn about facilities operations for a growing start-up company.\nResponsibilities\nEnsure maintenance of facilities at our Torrance and Long Beach sites, working with outside vendors to keep both locations running smoothly\n\nOrder and stock snacks, office supplies, and kitchen essentials so teams always have what they need\n\nPlan and set up hospitality and catering for team lunches, meetings, and events\n\nPrepare and ship packages to remote employees, and manage incoming mail and package pickup and delivery as needed\n\nHandle supply runs and local errands between sites as needed (reliable transportation required; mileage reimbursed)\n\nAssist People & Talent with new hire onboarding needs\n\nSupport team with ad hoc administrative requests, including printing and other day-to-day needs\n\nRequirements\nCurrently enrolled in school, a recent graduate, or 0-2 years of work experience\n\nOrganized and detail-oriented, with a track record of following through\n\nClear written and verbal communication\n\nComfortable handling confidential information\n\nAvailable 20 hours per week on-site in Torrance, CA\n\nAbility to lift 25 pounds or more\n\nReliable mode of transportation for local driving during the workday, if needed\n\nPreferred Requirements\nCoursework in business, operations, or related\n\nPrior experience in an admin, office, retail, or customer-facing job\n\nExperience with Google Workspace or similar tools\n\nComfortable in spreadsheets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)\n\nCompensation\nPay range: $18 to $25 per hour\nCritical Loop is an equal opportunity employer.
