Applied AI Architect

About the project

For our client, a fast-growing consulting firm and official Anthropic partner, we are looking for an Applied AI Architect. The client helps enterprises adopt the Claude platform deeply and for the long run: from planning, through rollout and scaling across the organisation, to advanced technical projects where they build agentic applications side by side with their customers. Those customers come from all over the world, largely North America, in industries such as technology, finance and healthcare.

About the role

You will join the client's team and own the technical side at every stage: from the first demos and short Proof-of-Value projects to multi-week production rollouts. You will work inside engineering environments to deploy Claude Code and rebuild SDLC processes (code review, requirements, testing, documentation). On top of that: building agentic applications, modernising legacy systems and working closely with business leaders in Sales, Customer Service and Finance.

What you will do

Rollout and enablement

• Run Claude Code Labs and customer workshops.
• Take client teams from beginner to advanced on Claude Code, Claude for Work, Cowork and the developer platform.
• Create and document deployment patterns, and feed them back into the client's methodology and Anthropic's product teams.

Transformation and advisory

• Analyse client environments (engineering toolchains, workflows, business operations, organisational dynamics) and turn that into clear technical plans.
• Advise on the changes AI-assisted software delivery brings to issue tracking, branching, testing, code review and security.
• Run adoption programmes that scale Claude usage across engineering and business teams.

Building and implementation

• Scope projects: assumptions, risks, milestones, dependencies.
• Build agentic applications on the Claude developer platform together with client teams.
• Build technical artefacts: evaluation frameworks, MCP servers, sub-agents and deployment configurations fitted to the client's stack.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Technical Consultant) or as a Software / Product Engineer in a high-scale environment.
• Advanced working knowledge of Claude Code.
• Strong hands-on coding: you write, ship and maintain production code.
• Production experience with LLMs: prompt engineering, agentic system design, evaluation frameworks.
• CI/CD, modern SDLC practices, cloud deployments (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Excellent communication - equally comfortable with developers and with technical and business leaders.
• High autonomy and comfort in unfamiliar situations.
• English good enough to work in the team without friction (B2 or better).
