Responsible for safety on the road, at construction sites, and loading sites.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nDeliver products and accessories to company superintendents on a flatbed or drop-deck trailer.\nResponsible for loading, unloading, strapping, and securing loads on flatbed trailers.\nMust follow all DOT and Hazmat regulations.\nPerform daily DOT inspections on trucks and trailers and report issues to Expeditor.\nResponsible for tracking on duty hours in accordance with DOT regulations using an ELD.\nMust maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License and Hazmat Endorsement.\nResponsible for interior and exterior cleanliness of company trucks.\nMaintain professional conduct and provide customer service to construction site superintendents and foremen.\nCollect and relay all pertinent information pertaining to construction site deliveries and the customer service experience.\nAssist with maintenance activities per ability.\nObserve and follow all mandatory company safety procedures, including the use of all personal protective equipment (PPE).\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHS Diploma or equivalent.\n3-5 continuous years of experience driving a Semi Truck. \nValid Commercial Driver's License. \nAbility to obtain a Hazmat Endorsement within first three months of employment.\nMust be proficient driving a manual transmission\nWorking Conditions:\nRequires travel, including overnight travel outside of employee's home territory.\nExposed to hazardous materials.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
