You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure interoperability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across the solution landscape.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and define scalable application architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.\nLead the implementation of cloud-ready, microservices-based, and event-driven solutions.\nEstablish architecture standards, design patterns, and development best practices.\nEnsure interoperability between multiple enterprise applications and technology components.\nContribute to architectural decisions related to API design, integration frameworks, data management, and cloud technologies.\nSupport technical governance and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.\nAnalyse and understand functional, technical, and business requirements.\nDesign and develop back-end and front-end solutions using modern technologies and frameworks.\nDesign, build, and maintain APIs and microservices.\nOversee application structure, code quality, maintainability, and scalability.\nParticipate in the design and implementation of data storage solutions.\nTake technical leadership on projects and provide guidance to development teams.\nInterpret and implement executable BPMN 2.0 specifications.\nAnalyse BPMN and UML models to design automated business processes.\nContribute to workflow optimisation and business process automation initiatives.\nImplement process orchestration solutions using Camunda and related BPM technologies.\nDesign and support CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.\nIntegrate applications with messaging, middleware, and enterprise integration platforms.\nEnsure secure application design and compliance with data protection requirements.\nImplement security best practices and address application vulnerabilities.\nSupport cloud integration and deployment activities.\nDefine and implement testing strategies, scenarios, and test cases.\nTroubleshoot application issues and lead root-cause analysis activities.\nMonitor application performance and identify optimisation opportunities.\nEnsure delivery of robust, secure, and high-quality solutions.\nProduce and maintain technical documentation and architecture artefacts.\nCollaborate with architects, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.\nPresent technical solutions and architectural recommendations.\nSupport decision-making processes on technology choices and solution design.\nContribute effectively within an international and multicultural environment.\nProfile requirements\nBachelor's degree (minimum EQF Level 6) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.\nStrong experience in application architecture and enterprise software design.\nProven expertise in: Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Kafka, Angular (14+), TypeScript, JavaScript\nStrong knowledge of: Cloud-native architecture principles, Microservices architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, Event Sourcing and CQRS, RESTful API design, Relational databases, Enterprise integration patterns, Application architecture best practices, BPMN modelling and execution, DevOps and CI/CD methodologies\nExperience with: Camunda, Business process modelling and automation, Middleware and messaging platforms, Secure application development, Modern front-end architecture and responsive web applications\nStrong leadership and technical decision-making capabilities.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to work independently and proactively.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent documentation and presentation abilities.\nAbility to work effectively within multicultural and international teams.\nProfessional proficiency in English.\nHigh degree of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.\nDesired Assets\nExperience designing solutions on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.\nStrong expertise in cloud integration patterns and distributed systems.\nExperience with middleware integration platforms.\nKnowledge of Graph Databases.\nExperience designing enterprise-scale event-driven ecosystems.\nStrong expertise in BPMN 2.0.\nAdvanced experience with Camunda and executable BPMN implementations.\nProven track record in business process analysis, optimisation, and automation.\nStrong experience with micro-frontend architectures.\nExperience with: HTML5, CSS/SASS, SVG, Node.js, Single Page Applications (SPA), Large-scale multi-module frontend ecosystems\nKnowledge of: NgRx / Redux state management, Ionic and Progressive Web Applications (PWA)\nExperience with: GitLab, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Nexus, SonarQube, Crucible\nKnowledge of: Docker, Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices\nExperience implementing: SSO and CAS authentication;
