are currently looking for a Nutanix AHV Virtualization Engineer to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.\nAs a member of the infrastructure team, you will play a key role in the transition from existing virtualization platforms to a Nutanix AHV-based infrastructure.\nYou will contribute to the design, build and implementation phases in close collaboration with engineering teams, while ensuring the transition to operations and lifecycle management of the platform.\nResponsibilities:\nContribute to the design and implementation of Nutanix AHV clusters.\nParticipate in the migration strategy from existing virtualization platforms to AHV.\nPrepare and validate infrastructure prerequisites, including network, storage and hardware.\nSupport deployment activities, including cluster creation, configuration and validation.\nDefine and implement best practices for AHV adoption.\nWork closely with infrastructure engineering teams across compute, network, storage and security.\nContribute to architecture design decisions and technical validation.\nAlign with engineering standards, reference architectures and security requirements.\nOperate and maintain Nutanix AHV clusters once deployed.\nManage Prism Element and Prism Central.\nPerform lifecycle management activities, including upgrades, patching and compatibility checks.\nEnsure high availability, performance and resilience of workloads.\nManage VM lifecycle activities, including snapshots, backup integration and performance tuning.\nConfigure Nutanix storage, including AOS and containers.\nImplement replication and backup strategies and support disaster recovery mechanisms.\nDevelop automation workflows using Ansible, REST APIs and scripting.\nContribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and standardisation efforts.\nAutomate provisioning and operational processes.\nIntegrate the platform with enterprise observability tools.\nApply security best practices and contribute to secure configuration baselines and compliance with internal standards.\nTechnical skills:\nStrong expertise in Nutanix AHV.\nStrong knowledge of the Nutanix ecosystem: AOS, Prism Element, Prism Central and LCM operations.\nSolid understanding of virtualization concepts, including compute, storage and networking.\nExperience with infrastructure build and migration projects.\nExperience with Ansible, REST APIs and scripting.\nUnderstanding of high-availability and disaster recovery principles.\nKnowledge of replication, backup and disaster recovery mechanisms.\nExperience with VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter is considered a strong asset, particularly in migration contexts.\nExperience with platform lifecycle operations, including patching, upgrades, backups, certificate renewal and disaster recovery, is an asset.\nProfile:\n4+ years of experience in virtualization and infrastructure engineering.\nProven hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV in project or production environments is mandatory.\nExperience in infrastructure build and migration projects, ideally involving a transition to Nutanix AHV.\nAbility to work in close collaboration with engineering teams.\nStrong
