Facilities Engineer*

Please note that this is a generic position. There is currently no open requirement for this role. However, it is a profile frequently requested by our clients and regularly sought within Cronos Europa.

As part of our Infrastructure team, you will support the management and maintenance of data centres and technical facilities, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, infrastructure, and asset management activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data centres, server rooms, and technical facilities.
• Manage hardware lifecycle activities, including installation, cabling, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Perform asset tracking, inventory management, and documentation updates.
• Support infrastructure projects and technical deployments.
• Provide operational support and incident handling within technical environments.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.

Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data centre operations or facilities management.
• Experience with hardware lifecycle and asset management processes.
• Familiarity with data centre infrastructure and technical environments.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work on-site and travel between locations when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English is required. French is a strong asset.
