This is a hands-on leadership role-approximately 60% engineering and 40% people and project management. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, identifies high-impact opportunities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. \nEngineering Responsibilities (~60%):\nDesign, develop, and deliver scalable software modules and components\nBuild backend systems using .NET 10, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, RabbitMQ, Docker and AWS\nPeople & Project Management Responsibilities (~40%):\nLead, mentor, and support a team of engineers and QA professionals with empathy, trust, and a focus on individual growth\nFoster a culture that promotes sharing ideas, taking calculated risks, and learning from setbacks\nPlan, triage, and prioritize work across multiple initiatives with lifecycles ranging from two weeks to three months\nQualifications:\n8+ years of experience in software engineering (a mix of front-end, back-end, API, security, and other best practices), with progressive leadership or management responsibilities\n6+ years of experience with C#, .NET Core, and the Microsoft development ecosystem deployed via AWS\n6+ years of experience in real-time data management (SQL, NoSQL, caching)\n4+ years of experience in DevOps disciplines (GIT or Azure Devops, Terraform, Python)\n3+ years of experience leading, managing engineering teams and interfacing with product and business organizations\nIdeal Candidate:\nExperience in the financial industry (FinTech or traditional banking)\nFully understands the business logic to drive the most relevant engineering solution\n#LI-KR1 #LI-Remote\nSalary Range: $170,000.00 - $210,000.00\nCross River is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
