The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and experienced across Windows, Linux, networking, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and automation.\nYou will collaborate with security, engineering, and operations teams to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance across all environments.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, selecting and right-sizing services to meet diverse enterprise workload requirements\nImplement and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)\nAdvise stakeholders on appropriate architecture patterns for different business and technical needs, balancing performance, security, scalability, and cost\nAssist with cloud cost optimization as a core practice\nHelp establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting using dashboards and proactive alerts for system health and anomalies\nAssist with security and compliance across cloud resources based on security recommendations and current best practices while aligning with financial industry regulatory requirements\nSupport deployment and operation of AI infrastructure components in collaboration with the AI Engineering team\nLeverage AI development tools (Cursor, Claude, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate IaC authoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and code review\nHelp conduct thorough reviews of cloud infrastructure configurations produced by consultants, external vendors, automated tools, and validate AI-generated infrastructure code for quality, security, and business alignment\nAssist with establishing and enforcing cloud architecture standards, documentation requirements, and technical best practices\nSupport backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nMust Have:\n3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or systems engineering\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform\nStrong experience with AWS or other cloud platforms\nFamiliarity managing Windows and Linux systems\nGood understanding of networking fundamentals\nKnowledge of automation and scripting\nExperience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting distributed systems\nStrong understanding of security best practices and compliance\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills\nPreferred:\nExperience deploying and supporting nested virtualization environments at the enterprise level\nKnowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines\nExperience in financial services or other highly regulated environments\nCertifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator or similar\n#LI-AC1 #LI-Hybrid\nSalary Range: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00\nCross River is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
