You'll be a hands-on engineer who writes quality code, solves complex technical problems, and collaborates across teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions in the lending domain. The ideal candidate is a strong engineer who is passionate about building mission-critical lending infrastructure at scale.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and deliver scalable software modules and components\nBuild backend systems using a mix of technologies. Languages may include C# and Python. Databases may include PostgreSQL, SQL Server and DocumentDB. Infrastructure includes AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes\nImplement, test, and iterate on software solutions that address both short-term and long-term considerations with a maintainable, sustainable mindset\nParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers\nCollaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to define technical approaches and solutions\nQualifications:\n4+ years of experience developing enterprise systems in modern, current object-oriented languages, with at least 2+ years of C# or Python\n2+ years of experience with SQL, preferably PostgreSQL or SQL Server\nExperience working with AI assistive and agentic code generation (e.g. Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor)\nDatabase persistence frameworks (e.g. nHibernate, Entity Framework)\nStrong communication skills\nExperience or understanding of Domain Driven Design\nCloud Architecture - preferably AWS\nDocker / Containers\nFinancial industry / accounting experience or understanding is helpful, but not required\nExperience designing and developing distributed systems and event driven architecture is preferred.
