Creativity.\nIf you're energized by solving complex technology challenges and helping others succeed in critical moments, you'll fit right in.\nAbout the role\nLead client engagements that help private equity investors and technology businesses understand, improve and create value from technology.\nBring the judgement and communication skills of a trusted consultant: frame the question, lead senior client conversations, synthesise evidence and tell a clear, decision-useful story.\nApply genuine technology depth to assess strategy, product and engineering capability, architecture, delivery performance, data, cyber risk, scalability, technical debt and operating model.\nTranslate technical findings into commercial implications for growth, customer outcomes, margin, investment risk, timing, capital requirements and value creation.\nDevelop a recognised functional specialism and use it to bring differentiated insight to clients. Specialisms may include product and engineering, software architecture and cloud platforms, data and AI, cybersecurity, software delivery or technology operating model.\nWork collaboratively with investment teams, management teams and Crosslake colleagues across technical, commercial, operational and financial workstreams.\nRole responsibilities\nIndependently lead complex client engagements from scoping through to high-quality delivery, balancing client service, project management, team leadership and commercial awareness.\nBuild credibility quickly with senior investors, boards and management teams through sound judgement, clear communication and an ability to make complex issues accessible.\nDeliver concise reports, executive presentations and workshops that connect technology findings to the decisions clients need to make.\nLead technical due diligence work that identifies material risks and opportunities, then help clients prioritise practical post-deal value-creation actions.\nContribute to broader commercial diligence, investment thesis and value-creation engagements where technology is central to the business case.\nDevelop and apply a functional specialism while maintaining enough breadth to lead integrated client discussions and direct multidisciplinary teams.\nSupport the growth of Crosslake through excellent client relationships, repeat work, thoughtful proposition development and mentoring of colleagues.\nWhat we’re looking for\n10+ years of relevant experience in technology consulting, technology due diligence, technology strategy, digital transformation or technology leadership.\nA track record of leading client-facing workstreams or engagements, including managing senior stakeholders and producing high-quality, decision-ready outputs.\nStrong technology fundamentals and demonstrable depth in at least one functional specialism, such as product and engineering, architecture and cloud, data and AI, cybersecurity, delivery or technology operating model.\nAn experience spike in a business domain -
