The future of cybersecurity starts with you.\nAbout the Role:\nCrowdStrike is looking for a Data Center Technician to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany.The candidate must be experienced in data center best practices, Linux, computer hardware components and networking. You will be joining a fantastic team of Data Center Technicians and you will build strong relationships as a team, working to support one another and assist each other when needed.\nWhat You Will Do:\nParticipate in server and network deployments and upgrades within a production data center.\n\nRun fiber optic and copper cabling to support growing infrastructure.\n\nTroubleshoot equipment, using command line tools, at various stages to identify & remediate issues.\n\nUtilize appropriate tools to install, configure, test and troubleshoot infrastructure hardware, which includes servers, switches and PDUs.\n\nInstall hardware and integrate the hardware into our production infrastructure.\n\nParticipate in a weekly on-call rotation.\n\nWillingness to sometimes travel to different data center locations around Frankfurt.\n\nDocument a port matrix on data center projects.\n\nWhat You Will Need:\n4+ years experience preferred with direct experience managing servers and/or data centers to support business goals.\n\nFamiliar with copper and optical network cabling.\n\nUnderstand power cabling and PDUs (\"Power Distribution Units\")\n\nLift up to 35kg.\n\nFamiliar with command line interfaces.\n\nBasic familiarity with Linux and other common operating systems.\n\nFamiliar with server, storage, and Internet technologies.\n\nCustomer-focused mindset, with demonstrated skill in managing expectations, providing proactive status updates, and producing high-quality work.\n\nAbility to plan, organize and prioritize work independently and meet deadlines.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively with both local and remote teams.\n\nWritten and Verbal communication in English.\n\nProven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.\n\nBonus Points:\nKnowledge of routing systems such as Cisco, Linux, Arista.\n\nExperience running large scale operations in a datacenter.\n\nAble to communicate in German\n\nFamiliarity with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, GoLang.\n\nIndustry certifications is a plus (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA+, Linux, etc.).\n\nBenefits of Working at CrowdStrike:\nMarket leader in compensation and equity awards\nComprehensive physical and mental wellness programs\nCompetitive vacation and holidays for recharge\nPaid parental and adoption leaves\nProfessional development opportunities for all employees regardless of level or role\nEmployee Networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build connections\nVibrant office culture with world class amenities\nGreat Place to Work Certified™ across the globe \nCrowdStrike is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
