You'll maintain and enhance business-critical Android apps used daily by our partners, working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your code directly impacts how we serve our customers. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges, implement cutting-edge Android technologies, and grow your expertise with a leader in cybersecurity.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain Android applications with a focus on performance, security, responsiveness, and exceptional user experience\nCollaborate cross-functionally with business analysts, alliances/channel team, backend engineers, and stakeholders to conceptualize, scope, and deliver new features and enhancements\nWrite clean, maintainable code following Kotlin best practices, design patterns, and architectural principles (MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI, etc.)\nConduct comprehensive testing including unit tests, instrumentation tests, UI tests (Espresso), and debugging to ensure applications meet CrowdStrike's quality and security standards\nOptimize application performance for speed, memory efficiency, and compatibility across Android devices, screen sizes, and OS versions\nParticipate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring team members to elevate code quality\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to app performance, crashes, ANRs (Application Not Responding), functionality, and third-party integrations\nIntegrate with backend services using RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data communication\nStay current with Android ecosystem updates (Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, Hilt), Material Design guidelines, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement\nContribute to technical planning, including effort estimation, sprint planning, and architectural decisions\n\nWhat You'll Need:\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar work experience\nA minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, during which both technical and professional capabilities have been clearly demonstrated.\nStrong proficiency in Kotlin with hands-on experience using Android SDK, Jetpack (Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation)\nPlatform knowledge of activity/fragment lifecycle, intents, services and broadcast receivers.
