The future of cybersecurity starts with you.\nAbout the Role:\nDesign, develop, and maintain back-end software systems for cloud-based cybersecurity solutions. \nCreate and implement distributed systems architecture for endpoint management platforms. \nParticipate in strategic technical initiatives focusing on sensor telemetry and system debuggability. \nCreate and maintain high-performance cloud infrastructure components. Ensure system reliability and performance through monitoring, testing, and debugging. \nConduct root cause analysis for critical issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend and backend solutions. \nParticipate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members. \nImplement microservices architecture for scalability. \nDesign event driven systems using modern messaging patterns. \nContribute to best practices for software architecture.\nTelecommuting is permitted 100% of the time from anywhere within the US.\nWhat You’ll Need:\nMust possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be “quantified” by “time.” Required expertise/knowledge includes:\nExperience building backend modules for distributed systems using microservices architecture, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and implementing service mesh patterns for inter service communication and fault tolerance; \nExperience building and deploying cloud-based solutions using major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), leveraging managed services (RDS, Lambda, S3), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and implementing auto-scaling, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-region deployments; \nExperience working with database technologies including Redis for caching/session storage, Kafka for event streaming/message processing, Postgres for transactional data with query optimization, and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch for full-text search, log aggregation, and real-time analytics; \nExperience building REST or equivalent APIs using frameworks (Spring Boot/Gin), implementing proper HTTP methods/status codes, authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth), API versioning, rate limiting, and comprehensive documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger); \nProficient in backend development using Go, Python, or Java with experience in frameworks, concurrency patterns, performance optimization, and production-grade application development; \nExcellent troubleshooting and debugging skills for distributed systems using distributed tracing (Jaeger, Zipkin), log aggregation (ELK stack), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and root cause analysis across multiple services and data flows; \nExperience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working the rough code reviews and managing pull requests. \nEducation/Experience Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related computer technical field (or foreign equivalent) plus Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related occupation.\nCrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
