Join us at Crowe and embark on a career where you can help shape the future of our industry.\nJob Description:\nOverview:\nThe Audit Senior Associate encompasses a range of responsibilities that are integral to the audit process and client service including coordinating and executing engagements, client interaction, supervision of staff, and team collaboration. They must be technically proficient, be able to assess risk and problem solve.\nAuditors at all levels have the responsibility to uphold the public trust and must demonstrate this with a commitment to supporting a culture of high integrity, performance, ethical behavior, and sound risk management in their daily practice.\nResponsibilities:\nIn-charge audit engagements, working closely with the audit team to ensure they are performed in accordance with professional standards and the firm's practices.\n\nSupervise, train, and mentor staff and interns on audit process and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews.\n\nExecute detailed audit procedures, including reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports, and policies for accuracy and completeness.\n\nWork collaboratively with audit team members, contributing to a positive work environment.\n\nBuild and maintain relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.\n\nIdentify and communicate audit issues, technical matters, and improvement opportunities with senior associates, managers, and partners to develop audit response to matters discovered during the audit process.\n\nStay informed about industry-specific regulations and ensure that all audit work complies with the relevant standards and regulations.\n\nPrepare and document audit findings, including the preparation of detailed work papers that record and summarize audit procedures and findings.\n\nEngage in ongoing professional development to improve technical skills and knowledge.\n\nMaintain professional certification(s), such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, if applicable.\n\nAssist with various administrative functions of audit engagements such as budgeting, billing, and conflict resolution.\n\nParticipate in internal projects and initiatives aimed at improving the firm's audit processes and methodologies.\n\nUphold the highest standards of integrity, independence, and professional skepticism.\n\nExceptional candidates will demonstrate:\nExcellent project management, organization, and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.\n\nAbility to collaborate with colleagues and clients at all levels.\n\nStrong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\n\nProfessional presence\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing client needs.\n\nAbility to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites or Crowe offices.\n\nExperience / Training\nMinimum Bachelors of Commerce Degree is required.\n\nChartered Accountant is required, and CPA eligible desired.\n\nA minimum of four (4) years of experience in public accounting.\n\nUS GAAP audit experience required.\n\nWork Schedule\nA portion of each workday should overlap with the US team work schedule to ensure adequate opportunity to communicate with US resources.\nThe work schedule is 11 am to 8 pm (India local time).
