Leveraging a collection of organizational technology capabilities, including business intelligence, data management, and data assurance, we help our clients drive innovation, growth, and change within their organization using business intelligence.\nOur rapid business intelligence solutions, data visualization, and integrated reporting dashboards allow our team to deliver agile, highly interactive reporting and analytics that help our clients to run their business, understand what business questions can be answered and how to unlock the business drivers more effectively.\nSpecific responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nCrowe is looking for a Data Solutions Architect to be a leader on our team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience. The primary focus will be helping our clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nThe shift timings for this role is 5:00PM - 2:00AM IST (7:30AM - 4:30PM ET)\nServe as subject matter expert on Business Intelligence engineering platforms (Ex - Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Data platform, Snowflake, DBT) demonstrating platform capabilities and promoting application of toolset to address business needs and maximize the value realized from technology investment.\nOversee the design and deployment of data pipelines, analytics platforms, and reporting frameworks that improve transparency and support decision-making.\nUtilize advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques to detect anomalous activity and patterns in transaction data.\nEnsure data quality and integrity through best practices in data management and governance.\nMentor and lead a team of data analysts and consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.\nProvide technical guidance and career development opportunities to junior team members, ensuring high levels of performance and professional growth.\nFacilitate cross-functional collaboration among teams to integrate data-driven insights into broader business strategies.\nDevelop and implement frameworks that align with regulatory changes and help clients stay ahead of compliance requirements.\nWork with legal and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable data analytics strategies.\nContribute to proposals and presentations for potential clients, demonstrating expertise in data analytics and regulatory compliance.\nRepresent the organization at industry events and conferences as a subject matter expert in data consulting.\nDrive internal innovation by identifying emerging technologies and methodologies that can improve service delivery.\nParticipate in presales engagements to manage the vision and expectations of a client’s multiple stakeholders and create a conceptual solution design involving effort estimation, technical and functional solution, execution methodology, project plan, and team.\nParticipate in the systems development process, including planning and monitoring systems development efforts, coordinating activities with other groups, reviewing deliverables and communicating status to the project manager and client.\nLead and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.\nArchitect, implement, deploy, and support analytical databases and pipelines in an Azure environment\nCreate proofs of concepts as necessary for architectural vision, strategy, and tool evaluation.\nDocument, diagram, and present complex/technical material that can be understood by a non-technical audience.\nCreate and deploy accurate client architecture and analyses in a relatively short period of time.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related field is required.\nAdvanced degree (Master’s/Ph.D.) is preferred.\nAt least 7-10 years of progressive experience in data analytics, consulting, or financial services; a strong background in banking and regulatory compliance implementations is desired.\nProven track record in managing complex data projects and leading cross-functional teams.\nExperience in working with large datasets, data warehousing, and advanced analytics tools.\n8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise data warehouse and data lake implementations\n5+ years of external client consulting experience\n5+ years of hands-on experience building automated ETL/ELT or data integration processes utilizing multiple source systems\n5+ years of team management experience (including offshore resources)\n5+ years of experience leading multiple external client projects simultaneously\n5+ years of preparing detailed external client project budget estimations with strong resource management capabilities\n3+ years of in-depth experience in architecting, designing, and implementing complex data architectures on Azure including Azure Data Factory, Azure/Managed Instance SQL Server, Azure Logic App, and Azure Synapse Analytics\nExperience mentoring teammates or conducting technical training\nPossess integrity and a strong work ethic\nStrong analytical and verbal/written communication skills\nCertifications (Preferred):\nCertifications in BI (ETL tools, visualization tools, cloud architectures) are expected\nCertifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), or related data analytics certifications are a plus.\nPreferred Skills and Experience:\nExperience working in or consulting for financial services clients is highly desirable.\nHands-on experience with comprehensive dimensional modelling and end-to-end data warehouse projects, including:Requirements gathering\nInfrastructure planning and deployment\nSubject matter expert interviews\nLogical and physical dimensional model design and development\nETL/ELT development and maintenance model and data validation\nDocumentation\n\nPrevious consulting experience or experience working with external clients\nProficiency in analytics and statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).\nExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and big data technologies.\nFamiliarity with machine learning frameworks and cloud-based data platforms is advantageous\nExperience working on projects using agile development practices\nAzure experience: building landing zones, provisioning resources, establishing security is a big plus\nKey Stakeholders This Role Interacts With:\nInternal\nSenior BI Analyst\nData Product Manager\nBI Architect / Senior Architect\nData Engineers\nAnalytics Developers (Power BI, Tableau)\n\nExternal\nC-Suite Executives (CEO, CFO, CIO, etc.)\nClients Operations Leads and Mid-Level Managers\nData Owners, Data Stewards\nEnterprise Information Management and Data Governance Team\nWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
