The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial records, effective internal controls, and compliance with Uzbekistan legislation and applicable donor requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents; record financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.\nManage payments, cash flow, bank reconciliations, advances, accounts receivable and payable, and fixed-asset records.\nMonitor budgets and expenditures, analyze variances, support budget preparation and forecasting, and prepare regular financial reports for management and donors.\nEnsure accurate calculation, reporting, and timely payment of applicable taxes and statutory deductions in compliance with Uzbekistan legislation.\nMaintain financial controls and documentation, support internal and external audits, and implement audit recommendations.\nMonitor grant expenditure and compliance with donor agreements, funding conditions, and reporting requirements.\nMaintain financial management systems and develop Excel-based financial models, budget monitoring tools, and reporting templates; improve reporting efficiency through automation.\nProvide financial guidance to project managers and other departments on budgeting, expenditure management, and compliance.
