In this role, you will support a variety of forensic accounting engagements, including financial investigations, fraud detection, litigation support, and dispute-related financial analysis.\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and an interest in investigating complex financial matters. You will work collaboratively with experienced professionals to analyze financial records, identify irregularities, develop insights, and deliver high-quality solutions to clients across industries.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAnalyze financial statements, accounting records, and other financial documentation to identify discrepancies, irregularities, and potential indicators of fraud.\nSupport forensic investigations involving suspected financial misconduct, fraud, contractual disputes, and other complex business matters.\nPerform financial analysis to assess economic damages, lost profits, revenue losses, and other financial impacts associated with business disputes.\nAssist in preparing detailed investigative reports, financial schedules, presentations, and supporting documentation for clients, legal counsel, and litigation proceedings.\nConduct research, data analysis, and financial modeling to support forensic investigations and litigation engagements.\nUtilize Excel and other analytical tools to evaluate large datasets, identify trends, and uncover unusual financial transactions.\nSupport litigation and dispute advisory engagements by organizing evidence, analyzing financial information, and documenting findings.\nAssist in reviewing financial records, internal controls, and business processes to identify potential compliance risks and areas for improvement.\nCollaborate with engagement teams to deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality work in accordance with professional standards and project requirements.\nCommunicate findings and complex financial concepts clearly to team members and client stakeholders.\nManage multiple assignments, prioritize competing deadlines, and proactively identify and resolve issues.\nContribute ideas and insights that help clients address financial risks, improve processes, and achieve business objectives.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field.\nMinimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience in forensic accounting, financial investigations, audit, accounting advisory, litigation support, financial analysis, or a related consulting discipline.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial reporting concepts.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and financial modeling.\nStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify inconsistencies and interpret complex financial information.\nExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to present financial findings clearly and concisely.\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while independently managing assigned responsibilities.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional qualifications or progress toward certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).\nPrevious experience with a professional services firm, consulting organization, forensic accounting practice, or audit firm.\nExposure to forensic investigations, fraud risk assessments, financial disputes, economic damages analysis, or litigation support.\nExperience reviewing complex financial transactions, tracing funds, identifying accounting irregularities, or analyzing potential fraudulent activity.\nFamiliarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, Tableau, or advanced Excel.\nExperience preparing financial analysis reports, investigative summaries, or client-facing presentations.\nUnderstanding of internal controls, regulatory compliance, and fraud prevention practices.\nFamiliarity with financial analysis related to breach-of-contract claims, lost profits, or business valuation matters.\nStrong intellectual curiosity, investigative mindset, and willingness to learn new methodologies and technologies.\nDemonstrated ability to take ownership of assignments, exercise sound professional judgment, and contribute to high-quality client deliverables.\nWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship.
