Our products and services have been profoundly expediting research for in vitro, in vivo, translational oncology, target validation, preclinical proof of concept, assistive clinical strategy design, and biomarker discovery.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis role sits within an integrated PK/PD, Toxicology, and Biomarker platform supporting translational drug development. You'll gain exposure to novel drug modalities (ADC, IO, cell therapy, etc) and collaborate cross-functionally with PK/PD and toxicology scientists, building a well-rounded understanding of preclinical and translational drug development.\nIndependently perform, analyze, and interpret pathology and tissue-based biomarker assays, including IHC , IF/multiplex IF, and RNAscope or ISH, etc.\nReview IHC/histopathology sections and analyze IHC and mIF results, including image capture, scoring analysis, and scientific interpretation.\nConduct image analysis and data interpretation using AI-based platforms such as HALO and HALO AI; support algorithm development and validation for quantitative biomarker analysis.\nSupport the development, optimization, troubleshooting, and validation of IHC/pathology and biomarker assays.\nSupport advanced spatial pathology and multiplex imaging workflows. Experience with Akoya platforms, such as OPAL multiplex IF, PhenoImager, or related spatial biology technologies, is preferred.\nSupport pathology platform R&D activities, including development of new biomarker assays, multiplex panels, digital pathology workflows, and spatial biology capabilities.\nSupport pathology and biomarker studies for ADC, immuno-oncology, targeted therapy, small-molecule, and other drug discovery programs.\nCommunicate effectively with customers, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders in China and globally.\nDraft study protocols, assay plans, data summaries, and final study reports, and deliver high-quality data to customers in a timely manner.\nProvide technical training and guidance to new employees and junior team members.\nComplete other assignments from upper management.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nPh.D. in pathology, veterinary pathology, immunology, cancer biology, molecular biology, cell biology, medicine, veterinary medicine, or a related field.\nKnowledge and hands-on experience in cancer biomarkers, molecular biology, histopathology, veterinary medicine, or tissue-based biomarker assays.\nExperience in preclinical drug discovery, CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or translational research environments is preferred.\nSKILL REQUIREMENTS\nProficient in core molecular biology and histopathology techniques, including IHC, IF, ISH/RNAscope, etc.\nHands-on experience with complex/advanced pathology platforms such as Multiplex IF and spatial biology platform is preferred.\nFamiliarity with digital pathology image analysis platforms (e.g., HALO, HALO AI) is highly preferred.\nUnderstanding of digital pathology applications in ADC, IO, targeted therapy, and small-molecule drug development is strong preferred.\nCapable of independently performing experiments, analyzing data, troubleshooting technical issues, and drafting scientific study reports.\nDetail-oriented with strong data management and documentation practices.\nExcellent English communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interface directly with global customers and internal stakeholders.\nStrong interpersonal skills; able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.\nSelf-motivated, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nWORKING RELATIONSHIPS\nReport to: Department Manager\nWorks with: Biomarker group, in vivo, in vitro group\nOUR OFFER\nCompetitive remuneration + target bonus + allowance\n5 days per week (8h working hour)\nPaid annual leave\nWork-Life Balance\nFestival gift and allowance\nSupplemental Medical insurance\nSocial insurance and housing insurance\nWHY JOIN US?\nIf you love the intellectual challenge of working in a fast-paced, results-driven organization, there is a home for you at Crown Bioscience.
