This position will work closely with the manufacturing facilities in regard to electrical programming, problem solving, etc. for both the 3-Piece and 2-Piece steel and aluminum food cans and end processes.\nDuties And Responsibilities:\nReporting directly to the Manager Production Engineering (Electrical) duties would include but not be limited to the following:\nProviding problem-solving on electrical technical matters relating to food can and end performance\nDeveloping full documentation package of new and existing installations\nContinued support of new installations and plants until production efficiencies and goals are met\nSupport plants and personnel as required to identify production problems or issues, identify viable solutions and implement the same\nDevelop job completion schedules and monitor their progress\nGuide, support and train plant electrical teams\nQualifications:\nIn addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:\nMinimum Requirements\nAS degree in Electrical related discipline preferred; will consider candidates without a degree but commensurate experience\n2+ years in a manufacturing environment\ntechnical knowledge demonstrating broad understanding of electrical power and controls \nDemonstrated experience in PLC logic programming, documentation, and troubleshooting control programs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)\nExperience with facilities power distribution (including voltages to 480v & three phase) and control systems and subsystems\nTroubleshooting industrial communication networks (Ethernet, Profinet, DeviceNet, DH+, RIO, etc). \nEffective communication skills are needed for this role, both verbal and written as well as the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.\nSelf-motivated and eager to take the initiative; with the ability to work effectively in a team setting and as an individual\nWell organized and detail oriented with good time management skills\nStrong PC skills are a must, especially using Word, Outlook, and Excel.\nCommitted to on-going personal development and career growth\nPreferred Requirements\nSteel and/or aluminum manufacturing environment experience would be ideal\nPhysical Requirements\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl \nThe associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus\nWorking Conditions\nWill be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting in a plant environment as well as in an office.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic. \nThe associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.\nThe noise level is frequently loud.\nWhat Crown Offers You\nStrong engagement and commitment to the safety of our employees\n\nThe opportunity to build a meaningful career\n\nProfessional and personal development through training and work experiences\n\nJoin us and become part of a team of professionals who are passionate about sustainable packaging!\nWorking Together Working Together is one of the five pillars that make up our Twentyby30™ program.
