It's an exciting time to join our business because Crown offers you the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in an expanding industry.\nCrown was founded with the goal of valuing and promoting sustainability and this vision continues to be essential to our long-term future.\nJob Description:\nJob Description:\nDuties And Responsibilities:\nFollow all safety and quality policies\nInspect and test products for quality defects using a variety of inspection methods\nReport quality issues and concerns to various departments\nEnsure all equipment, guards, and safety devices are in place at all times, and follow safe work procedures and safety rules.\nAudit various applications to product to ensure SOP specifications are met\nControl non-conforming product by identifying and isolating defective material\nAnalyze spoilage, record causes, and take corrective actions where applicable.\nMonitor processes and reports all problems to supervision through interaction and required paperwork.\nFollow all SOP requirements and intercedes or challenges proper personnel when defects are present in production runs.\nNotify supervisor of any incidences of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken and of any poor quality material or supplies noted.\nInteract and report to/with the Quality Manager in creation and revisions of SOP's (standard operating procedures) as changes and additions require.\nKeep area safe, clean, and organized.\nHazardous waste duties as assigned\nTrain Team Members new to the department\nPerform other duties as required.\nMinimum Requirements\nExperience with maintaining accurate records as well as experience with accurate measurement capability.\nProficient computer skills with a focus on the Microsoft Office package.\nProven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time.\nEffective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment.\nMust be able to work twelve (12) hour shifts, both day and evening.\nAbility to work overtime as needed\nPreferred Requirements\nWorking experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment is preferred.\nPhysical Requirements\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and may be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb steps/ladders or crawl \nThe associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus\nWorking Conditions\nGenerally works in a plant environment but will be required to perform some job duties inside a typical office setting\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicular traffic \nThe associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures\nThe noise level is frequently loud\nWhat Crown Offers You\nStrong engagement and commitment to the safety of our employees\n\nThe opportunity to build a meaningful career\n\nProfessional and personal development through training and work experiences\n\nJoin us and become part of a team of professionals who are passionate about sustainable packaging!\nWorking Together Working Together is one of the five pillars that make up our Twentyby30™ program.
