It's an exciting time to join our business because Crown offers you the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in an expanding industry.\nCrown was founded with the goal of valuing and promoting sustainability and this vision continues to be essential to our long-term future.\nJob Description:\nMission\nAs a key member of a small cross-functional team, the job-holder will be engaged in sustainability projects and data analysis to support North America businesses primarily and other global businesses units where necessary to meet targets as part of the Company’s Twenty by30 Sustainability Program with a focus on energy, water and waste reduction.\nMain challenges & complexity\nMain activities\nSustainability Projects\nSupport implementation and monitor Twenty by 30 roadmaps and 5-year Projects / Investments Plan in each business / plant with Business leaders and Plant Managers and identify actions for improvement Monitor Operational Capex Projects (PARs, Post-Capex review) aligned with Twenty by 30 goals - North America and Global scope Identify and help disseminate Best Practices across plants / Divisions Collaborate with EHS and Quality to ensure environmental compliance policies are established and followed and performance is tracked, Participate (lead) workshops (Climate Action & Energy Optimization) at manufacturing sites to teach plant employees about climate change, our Sustainability program, and energy improvement opportunities at their sites Facilitate ad-hoc taskforce on specific environmental topics (water, fuel reduction) Support data analysis for Product Carbon Footprint Participate in Customers meeting and prepare presentations when appropriate Participate in ad-hoc global projects (Business Pathways to Net Zero, Net Zero plant, global taskforce)\nSustainability Reporting and Data Monitoring - North America & Global Coordination\nMonitor accuracy, consistency and completeness of environmental data (energy, water, waste) reported in OneStream data collection platform and subsequently in Sweep sustainability data platform on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis (for annual reporting) in collaboration with other team members, Analyze monthly activity data (energy, water, waste) and engage with NA operations leaders and other divisions Sustainability & EHS teams to identify issues and implement corrective actions, Utilize sustainability data and carbon accounting platform (OneStream, Sweep) to support data reporting including progress of internal goals, CDP, GRI, CSRD, and more\nKey Performance Indicators\nCrown Holdings Twenty by30 goal progression\nCrown North America Operations leaders satisfaction\nAccuracy and timeliness of sustainability data\nCommunication\nInternal interlocutors\nGlobal Sustainability Team Members\nQ-EHS Managers / Directors \nPlant Managers\nRegional Operations Directors / Areas Managers\nCT R&D and Engineering Teams\nExternal interlocutors\nCustomers\nSuppliers\nKnowledge\nEngineering\nEngineering degree\nSustainability & Compliance\nBackground :\n3-5+ years of experience in Operations with an exposure to Sustainability and Environmental topics within Manufacturing (Packaging) industry.\nExperience and Key competences\nFunctional skills :\nEnergy equipment management\nWater, washer, wastewater systems understanding\nGHG accounting and reporting\nPAR systems for CAPEX projects\nDecarbonization pathways and levers\nExcellent Excel skills\nPowerBI\nIT systems literate\nSoft skills :\nProven communication skills, able to effectively communicate and engage all levels of internal and external stakeholders\nSelf-starter, goal-oriented person able to take initiative to achieve objectives\nStrong team player\nHigh degree of integrity\nInfluencer\nWhat Crown Offers You\nStrong engagement and commitment to the safety of our employees\n\nThe opportunity to build a meaningful career\n\nProfessional and personal development through training and work experiences\n\nJoin us and become part of a team of professionals who are passionate about sustainable packaging!\nWorking Together Working Together is one of the five pillars that make up our Twentyby30™ program.
