Here, you’ll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.\nThe Payroll Specialist is a senior individual contributor responsible for supporting accurate, compliant and timely payroll outcomes across Crown on project activities.\nThe role provides practical payroll expertise across pay processing, award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation, exception resolution, reconciliations, payroll controls and operational readiness activities.\nYou will act as a trusted escalation point for complex payroll matters and helps ensure payroll knowledge is captured, validated and embedded into repeatable ways of working.\nPlease note this is a 12 month fixed term contrac t.\nKey responsibilities:\nProvide senior payroll knowledge across payroll processing, pay components, leave, deductions, superannuation, tax, terminations, back pay, off-cycle payments and payroll calendar / cut-off requirements.\nInvestigate complex payroll exceptions, variances and employee pay queries.\nSupport pay run validation, reconciliations, audit evidence, compliance checks and control activities.\nContribute SME input to payroll transformation, blueprint workshops, UAT, parallel runs, defect assessment, cutover readiness and hypercare.\nAbout you\nPrevious Payroll Project and systems testing experience\nExperience working with HRIS, workforce management and payroll systems: SAP\nDemonstrated experience interpreting awards, Enterprise Agreements, employment contracts and payroll policy requirements.\nPractical experience resolving complex payroll exceptions, discrepancies, variances and employee pay queries.\nSignificant experience in payroll operations within a complex, multi-site or high-volume payroll environment.\nOn top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
