This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating daily inventory activities, and helping ensure materials are properly tracked, organized, and available when needed.\nThe ideal candidate has experience in warehouse inventory operations, is comfortable using SAP and Microsoft Excel, and can confidently operate a Cherry Picker forklift. We're looking for someone who leads by example, communicates effectively, solves problems, and takes ownership of inventory accuracy and team performance\n\nResponsibilities\nInventory Control & Accuracy\nMonitor and maintain accurate inventory levels throughout the warehouse.\nPerform and coordinate daily cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and inventory audits.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and assist with identifying and resolving root causes.\nVerify product quantities, part numbers, locations, and inventory transactions for accuracy.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and complete inventory transactions using SAP.\nAssist with locating missing inventory and resolving stock shortages or overages.\nEnsure materials are properly labeled, stored, and organized in designated warehouse locations.\nHelp maintain inventory accuracy to support production schedules, customer orders, and shipping requirements.\nTeam Leadership & Coordination\nProvide day-to-day direction and support to inventory team members.\nCoordinate daily inventory assignments and help prioritize tasks based on operational needs.\nTrain and assist employees on inventory procedures, SAP transactions, safety practices, and accuracy standards.\nMonitor workflow and help ensure inventory activities are completed accurately and on time.\nServe as a point of contact for inventory-related questions and concerns.\nCommunicate inventory issues, shortages, and operational concerns to the Inventory Analyst and management.\nPromote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nReporting & Problem Solving\nPrepare and communicate inventory count results, discrepancies, and adjustments to the Inventory Analyst.\nUse SAP and Microsoft Excel to review inventory information, track discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.\nResearch inventory variances and recommend solutions to prevent recurring issues.\nAssist with identifying process improvements that increase efficiency and inventory accuracy.\nWork closely with warehouse, receiving, shipping, and operations teams to resolve inventory concerns.\nWarehouse Operations & Safety\nSafely operate a Cherry Picker forklift to access, move, and verify inventory.\nAssist with material movement, stock organization, and inventory location verification.\nFollow established warehouse procedures, safety regulations, and company policies.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe inventory and storage areas.\nSupport additional warehouse and inventory functions as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nQualifications \nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in inventory management, inventory control, or warehouse operations.\nCherry Picker forklift operating experience required.\nAbility to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.\nExperience using SAP for inventory transactions and recordkeeping, required.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.\nPreferred Qualifications \nPrevious experience in a lead, trainer, or team coordination role.\nExperience working in automotive logistics, automotive parts distribution, or manufacturing warehousing.\nExperience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and physical inventory audits.\nReach Truck and/or Sit-Down Forklift experience.\nExperience working with warehouse inventory systems and RF scanners.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.\nExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently while providing direction and support to team members.\nDependable attendance and willingness to take ownership of assigned
