For further information about CRS, please visit: www.crs.org\n\n Duties and responsibilities:\nJob Summary: \n\nThe individual in this position will be responsible for inspecting vehicle readiness and ensuring that all necessary maintenance is conducted in a timely manner. S/he must comply with the organization?s policies and procedures, as well as relevant government regulations. Additionally, the individual may be required to perform other duties as needed.\n\nRoles and Key Responsibilities: \nClean and inspect the vehicle daily to ensure it is in good working condition before every trip.\nSafely drive CRS staff and visitors each day, always ensuring that all passengers wear seat belts.\nStrictly adhere to traffic regulations and report any accidents to your immediate supervisor.\nEnsure the vehicle has sufficient fuel (at least one-quarter tank) before starting your trip and obtain a vehicle request prior to departure.\nRegularly contact the office via cell phone to report your location, destination, and any other relevant information.\nAssist with bill payments and be sure to obtain receipts, invoices, tickets, and any other necessary documentation as required.\nFollow the organization policies and industry regulations, including safety protocols and documentation requirements.\nHelp with vehicle registration and insurance renewal.\nAid in loading and unloading goods from vehicles.\nEnsure that passengers complete the required information in the logbook regarding their trip, including fund and project codes, and sign it.\nIf the replacement driver does not show up for duty, continue working until the Head Driver makes further arrangements.\nPerform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.\n\n Minimum Qualification, Skills and Experience Required:\nBasic Qualifications \nSecondary school certificate is required.\nProficient in spoken English and Arabic. \nHold a valid Sudanese driving license. \nHave at least Four years of driving experience, preferably with NGOs. \nPossess a good knowledge of basic mechanics and familiarity with spare parts.\nRequired Languages ? English, Arabic advantage.\nTravel ? Regular travels within and outside of Madani as per requests. \nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities \nDemonstrates good oral and communication skills.\nGood Interpersonal relations skills\nBasic computer skills\nSelf-motivated person able to work with minimum supervision.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills (resolving problems or recommending solutions to supervisor).\nAbility to plan, organize and prioritize work.\nAgency REDI Competencies (for all CRS Staff):\nPersonal Accountability ?
