Whether that experience is online or in-person, streaming video, theatrical, games, merchandise, events and more, it’s powered by the anime content we all love.\nJoin our team, and help us shape the future of anime!\nAbout the role\nWe're looking for a Senior Manager, Internal Communications, Programs & Events to lead global employee communications, programs, and events that help team members stay connected to Crunchyroll’s business, strategy, culture, and leadership.\nReporting to the VP of Internal Communications, you'll lead comms activities around some of our most visible internal moments, including global All-Staff meetings, leadership forums, cultural programs, and employee events. You’ll own the work from strategy and concept through execution and measurement, partnering with senior leaders and teams across the company.\nThis is a senior individual contributor role for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, a strong communicator who can shape the approach, advise leaders, and bring best-in-class communications, programs and events to life.\nCore Responsibilities\nDevelop and lead global internal communications, employee programs, and events that connect employees to Crunchyroll’s business, strategy, culture, and leadership.\nLead high-visibility internal events, including All-Staff meetings, leadership forums, employee gatherings, and cultural programs.\nOwn programs and events from strategy and concept through planning, production, communications, and measurement.\nAdvise senior leaders on communications strategy, messaging, content, audience needs, and employee experience.\nCreate materials for major internal moments, including prep docs, agendas, presentations, briefings, talking points, and others. Provide rehearsal and prep support for speakers including executives.\nDevelop communications plans and employee programs that support key business and engagement priorities.\nWrite, edit and distribute employee communications across email, Slack, scripts, intranet, talking points, signage, executive messages, multimedia content and others.\nDetermine the right audience, message, channel, and timing for major communications and programs.\nBuild consistent approaches for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events that can scale across Crunchyroll’s global teams.\nPartner across the company to bring communications, programs, and events to life.\nLead agencies, vendors, contractors, and production partners, including scopes, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.\nAnticipate risks and issues that could affect employees, events, or communications and plan accordingly.\nUse employee feedback, participation, and communications performance to measure results and improve future work.\nIdentify new tools and approaches to strengthen Crunchyroll’s internal communications and employee experiences.\nAbout You\n8+ years in internal or corporate communications, including employee programs and high-visibility events, within a global organization.\nStrong writing and editorial skills, including executive communications, presentations, talking points, and employee-facing content.\nAbility to turn business priorities into clear communications, programs, and employee experiences.\n3+ years leading high-visibility virtual, hybrid, and in-person events from concept through execution.\nTrack record of independently leading complex communications and employee programs involving senior executives and multiple teams.\nStrong judgment and confidence advising senior leaders and building alignment across teams without direct authority.\nSkilled in managing agencies, production partners, vendors, budgets, timelines, and event logistics.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, anticipate risks, and adapt quickly when plans change.\nComfortable using employee feedback and performance data to measure results and improve future programs.\nGlobal mindset and cultural awareness, with the ability to adapt communications and programs for different regions and audiences.\nBachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally and work across time zones as needed.\nKnowledge of anime, pop culture, and the entertainment industry is a plus; familiarity with Japanese culture is also a plus.\nWhy you will love working at Crunchyroll\nIn addition to getting to work with fun, passionate and inspired colleagues, you will also enjoy the following benefits and perks:\nReceive a great compensation package including salary plus performance bonus earning potential, paid annually.\nFlexible time off policies allowing you to take the time you need to be your whole self.\nGenerous medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, and life insurance\nHealth Saving Account HSA program\nHealth care and dependent care FSA\n401(k) plan, with employer match\nEmployer paid commuter benefit\nSupport program for new parents\nPet insurance and some of our offices are pet friendly!\n#LifeAtCrunchyroll #LI-Hybrid \nThe Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
