Whether that experience is online or in-person, streaming video, theatrical, games, merchandise, events and more, it’s powered by the anime content we all love.\nJoin our team, and help us shape the future of anime!\nAbout The Role\nWork with engineers, product managers and project managers to implement new features across Crunchyroll's iOS and Apple TV app.\nCoordinate with the engineering manager on technical designs and decisions.\nCoordinate with multiple teams and manage dependencies where applicable.\nEnsure that team tasks are completed promptly.\nEnsure good code quality by doing rigorous code reviews and maintaining good code coverage on tests.\nWork with the engineering manager to develop a comprehensive testing pyramid.\nCollaborates with fellow engineers to level up their skills.\nIn the role of Software Engineer III, Apple, you will report to the Engineering Manager, Apple UI.\nThis is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, working from our SF office three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.\nAbout You\n5+ years of experience in software development with a background in Swift/SwiftUI.\nRecord of success with applications, games and/or utilities for iOS/iPadOS.\nFamiliarity with architecture patterns such as MVVM (Model-View-View Model) and experience implementing them in iOS applications.\nHands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as XCTest or Quick/Nimble, and a commitment to writing tests for all code changes.\nQuality first mindset: Demonstrates a strong commitment to code quality, reliability, and maintainability in all aspects of software development.\nExperience with development for memory and performance-limited devices in a multi-threaded environment.\nCross-collaborative experience and result and delivery oriented.\nExperience with RESTful APIs and networking protocols.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\nBonus points:\nExperience with video streaming application development in iOS/tvOS.\nExperience migrating to newer technologies in the iOS world (e.g. UIKit to SwiftUI).\nWorking experience with tvOS applications.\nExperience in asynchronous programming (async/await, Combine, RxSwift).\nAbout the Team\nThe Apple UI platform team builds and maintains our Crunchyroll apps for iOS and Apple TV.
