The Storage engineering team is the backbone of Crusoe’s AI cloud platform.\nYou’ll have real latitude here. You’ll build AI powered tools that make storage operations and engineering workflows faster and smarter, and you’ll shape how an entire engineering team works by driving adoption of tools like Claude Code, Codex; mentoring engineers one on one, and removing the friction that keeps great tools from getting used.\nIf you love building and using AI tools, and love getting others just as excited about them, please apply.\nWhat You'll Be Working On:\nBuild AI-powered automation for storage operations and workflows that reduces manual engineering toil\n\nDrive adoption of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, and others) across the Storage team - creating use cases, lowering friction, and making the case for new tools the team isn’t using yet\n\nHelp engineers use AI to handle test creation, correctness checks, and code review, so developers spend less time on repetitive work\n\nCoach and mentor other engineers on effective use of AI tools, rather than just using them solo\n\nPartner closely with DevX on tooling and platform-level changes (CI, broader infra) - this role drives adoption and use cases within Storage, not ownership of DevX-owned platform systems\n\nWhat You'll Bring to the Team:\n3+ years of professional industry experience building with AI tools, with measurable outcomes\n\nA track record of getting a team to adopt a tool or workflow you introduced\n\nExperience turning a personally built internal tool using AI into something a team relies on\n\nStrong software engineering fundamentals\n\nGenuine enthusiasm for AI coding tools and experience across multiple tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc.)\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field\n\nBonus Points\nPrior exposure to Cloud storage, networking, or infrastructure environments.\n\nCross functional working experience across DevX, Product Management, Engineering\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation and equity packages\n\nRestricted Stock Units\n\nPaid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs\n\nComprehensive health, dental & vision insurance\n\nEmployer contributions to HSA account\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nPaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability\n\nProfessional development & tuition reimbursement\n\nMental health & wellness support\n\nCommuter benefits (parking & transit)\n\nCell phone stipend\n\n401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary\n\nVolunteer time off\n\nGlobal travel insurance & emergency assistance\n\nDaily meals allowance\n\nAdditional perks & programs specific to location\n\nCompensation Range\nCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $140,000-$160,000 + Bonus.
