About the Role:

Crusoe's Sales team is growing, and we're hiring a Finance Manager to build and run the financial governance program that supports our deal desk. As our compute business scales, deal volume scales with it, and this role exists to keep speed and control moving together instead of trading off against each other. You'll design the processes, policies, and tooling that keep pricing frameworks, deal approvals, and contract review moving fast, and you'll be the strategic finance partner Sales and RevOps come to on deal questions. Because you sit across the whole deal book, you're also positioned to spot trends in discounting and deal terms early, and to shape how the program evolves as the business grows.

What You'll Be Working On:

• Develop processes and procedures to ensure financial governance of our deal quoting and approval workflow

• Be a strategic business partner for Sales and RevOps on deal questions, drive creation of pricing options for standard-SKU deals, and create tooling to enable a term/prepay tradeoff framework

• Review deals against policy and approve or route for further sign-off

• Interpret contract language to flag terms that create financial, accounting or operational risk, and loop in Legal or Pricing when needed

• Build and maintain reporting on discounting trends, deal cycle time, and policy exceptions

• Take on ad hoc analysis for GTM and Finance leadership like understanding how deal terms are trending across the book of business or modeling the impact of a proposed change to the tradeoff framework

• Partner with Sales, RevOps, Legal, and Product Finance to keep the deal process moving without creating bottlenecks

What You'll Bring to the Team:

• 8+ years of experience in deal desk, revenue operations, sales finance, investment banking, or a similar analytical role

• Demonstrated success in building and managing programs supporting the scalable operation of commercial workflows

• Experience working with sales teams, ideally in an enterprise technology business

• Comfortable reading contracts and identifying terms that matter financially, without needing a lawyer to translate

• Fluent in Salesforce (or a comparable CRM/CPQ tool)

• SQL proficiency (BigQuery or similar)

• Good judgment about when to move fast on a standard deal versus when to slow down and escalate

Bonus Points

• Experience in cloud infrastructure, compute, or another capital-intensive recurring-revenue business

• Exposure to building or maintaining a pricing or tradeoff framework

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $135,000-$165,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
