As a public-company reporting function, accuracy and timeliness here directly underpin investor confidence, lender relationships, and the Company's ability to fund continued growth - making this a highly visible role with exposure to Treasury, Finance, Legal, and external auditors.\nIn this role, you will design and maintain rigorous internal controls over financial reporting within a SOX-compliant environment, support technical accounting research on complex transactions, and prepare financial statements for lenders and business partners as well as statutory accounts for our international subsidiaries under IFRS and other bases of accounting. The ideal candidate is a licensed CPA with public accounting or large filer experience, strong technical writing skills, and the judgment to move from research to a practical, well-documented conclusion. This is a full-time, exempt position.\nWhat You'll Be Working On:\nConsolidated SEC Reporting - Lead the preparation and compilation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.\n\nLender & Partner Reporting - Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for lenders and other business partners, teaming with Treasury, Finance, and Legal on the reporting for new and existing financings and business partnerships.\n\nInternational Statutory Financials - Draft and manage the preparation of standalone statutory financial statements for international subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS and other local bases of accounting.\n\nTechnical Accounting Research - Assist with the research and evaluation of complex transactions, including debt/equity transactions, consolidation, lease accounting, revenue recognition, and other topics.\n\nTechnical Documentation - Prepare clear, comprehensive technical accounting memoranda documenting the Company's conclusions and compliance under US GAAP.\n\nExternal Audit Coordination - Coordinate and engage with external auditors on the review of consolidated and statutory financial statements, including delivery of audit requests and walkthroughs.\n\nSOX Internal Controls - Formulate, implement, and maintain robust financial reporting internal controls to ensure full compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.\n\nProcess Improvement - Identify process gaps, design remediation plans, and continuously improve the control environment surrounding financial reporting.\n\nWhat You'll Bring to the Team:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting required.\n\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.\n\nSix or more years of total accounting and audit experience.\n\nStrong working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting standards.\n\nExperience designing or auditing internal controls over financial reporting under the SOX framework.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in financial consolidations, with excellent written communication skills for drafting technical accounting memoranda.\n\nStrong critical and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop and implement practical solutions.\n\nAbility to effectively manage multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.\n\nBonus Points\nExperience at a large public accounting firm or with a large corporate filer.\n\nHands-on experience preparing statutory financial statements under IFRS or other local bases of accounting.\n\nExperience supporting an IPO readiness effort or initial SOX implementation.\n\nFamiliarity with financial reporting and consolidation systems (e.g., Workiva, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar).\n\nIndustry experience in energy, infrastructure, data centers, or another capital-intensive sector.\n\nBenefits:\nCompetitive compensation and equity packages\n\nRestricted Stock Units\n\nPaid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs\n\nComprehensive health, dental & vision insurance\n\nEmployer contributions to HSA account\n\nPaid parental leave\n\nPaid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability\n\nProfessional development & tuition reimbursement\n\nMental health & wellness support\n\nCommuter benefits (parking & transit)\n\nCell phone stipend\n\n401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary\n\nVolunteer time off\n\nGlobal travel insurance & emergency assistance\n\nDaily meals allowance\n\nAdditional perks & programs specific to location\n\nCompensation Range\nCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $115,000 - $140,000 + Bonus.
