You will take full ownership of inventory management at our Icelandic data center, ensuring accurate stock levels, smooth logistics, and timely support of hardware deployment and maintenance activities. Your work will directly impact our ability to scale efficiently and maintain reliability for our customers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Iceland.\nWhat You’ll Be Working On:\nInventory Ownership: Manage and maintain accurate records of all data center parts and materials using our inventory management system.\n\nInbound & Outbound Logistics: Track, receive, and ship components, ensuring proper documentation, labeling, and condition upon arrival/departure.\n\nStock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels of critical spares and consumables, and coordinate reorders to minimize downtime and delays.\n\nVendor Coordination: Work with vendors and internal teams to track shipments and resolve delivery or quality issues.\n\nOnsite Organization: Organize and optimize storage areas for easy access, safety, and cleanliness, aligning with operational and compliance standards.\n\nSupport Technicians: Ensure the right parts are available and prepped for deployment or repair work by onsite hardware teams.\n\nReporting & Audits: Run regular cycle counts and support periodic inventory audits to ensure system accuracy and accountability.\n\nDocumentation & SOPs: Maintain clear records of inventory movements and support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics workflows.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring to the Team:\nProven experience in logistics, inventory control, supply chain, or a similar role (data center or high-tech environment a plus)\n\nProficiency with inventory management systems\n\nExcellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail\n\nBasic understanding of hardware components and part types preferred\n\nAbility to lift and handle packages of up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment\n\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset\n\nFluent in English; Icelandic language skills are a plus\n\nValid work authorization for Iceland\n\nEmbody the Companyvalues\n\nBonus Points:\nPrevious experience supporting logistics in a data center or IT hardware environment\n\nFamiliarity with customs/shipping documentation and import/export procedures\n\nExperience working with procurement teams and vendors\n\nForklift or equipment handling certification\n\nBenefits:\nCrusoe offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support well-being and financial security.
