Crusoe is an energy and cloud company founded in 2018 that builds data centres next to stranded and low-carbon power sources. It started by converting flared natural gas into computing capacity and has become a large supplier of graphics processing capacity for artificial intelligence training and inference. The company develops sites, energy systems and its own managed AI cloud.

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack - from electrons to tokens - to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that - with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved - people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Manager, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to lead the day-to-day operations of Crusoe's Global Security Operations Center; the 24/7/365 command center responsible for monitoring, intelligence, incident response, and operational coordination that protects our people, facilities, and critical infrastructure worldwide.

Reporting to the Director, Global Physical Security, you'll lead the operational execution of the GSOC while helping scale its people, processes, and capabilities to support Crusoe's rapid global growth all while protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability across all lines of business. You'll translate strategic priorities into operational excellence by building a high-performing team, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the GSOC delivers exceptional service across an increasingly diverse portfolio of corporate offices, manufacturing facilities, data centers, power generation sites, and construction projects.

This role is ideal for an operational leader who enjoys building programs in a fast-moving environment where every day presents new opportunities to improve, innovate, and mature security operations. You'll play a key role in developing the next generation of Crusoe's GSOC while partnering across the business to deliver a unified, intelligence-driven, always-on security capability.

What You'll Be Working On:

Lead Global GSOC Operations

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of Crusoe's 24/7/365 Global Security Operations Center, ensuring consistent, high-quality monitoring, incident response, alarm management, and situational awareness across the global enterprise.

  • Maintain operational readiness across all shifts while ensuring standardized execution of SOPs, escalation procedures, and service-level expectations.

  • Serve as the operational leader for the GSOC, exercising sound judgment and decisive leadership during critical incidents while maintaining exceptional customer service under pressure.

Incident & Crisis Management

  • Lead operational response during security incidents, emergencies, and crises by assessing threats, coordinating cross-functional response efforts, dispatching security personnel or emergency responders, initiating mass notification when appropriate, and providing timely, accurate updates to leadership.

  • Conduct after-action reviews following significant incidents and drive continuous improvement through documented and socialized lessons learned and corrective actions for audit evidence repository.

Business Continuity and Resiliency

  • Maintain continuity of monitoring and incident response through redundant systems, failover procedures, and a defined backup/alternate-site capability so GSOC operations survive loss of primary facility, network, or power.

  • Own GSOC-specific business continuity and disaster recovery plans, validated through regular failover testing and tabletop exercises.

  • Ensure resiliency of the underlying security infrastructure at monitored sites: power, network, and system redundancy for access control, video, and alarm platforms, in partnership with data center and infrastructure teams.

Intelligence & Situational Awareness

  • Oversee enterprise-wide situational awareness through monitoring of physical security systems, open-source intelligence, commercial threat databases, social media, weather events, geopolitical developments, and other relevant intelligence sources.

  • Lead the production and quality of GSOC intelligence products, including threat assessments, intelligence briefs, BOLOs, travel advisories, executive support products, and incident reports that enable informed business decisions.

  • Ensure intelligence products are timely, actionable, and aligned with business priorities.

  • Protection of sensitive GSOC information: intelligence products, surveillance footage, access records, investigative case files, and executive travel/protection details, with appropriate handling, classification, and need-to-know access controls.

Technology Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead the operational use and continuous improvement of Crusoe's integrated security technology ecosystem, including enterprise access control, biometric authentication, video management, AI-enabled video analytics, incident management, protective intelligence, mass notification, and monitoring platforms.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operator workflows, preserve system(s) audit integrity (log completeness, system timestamp accuracy, tamper-evident records and investigative chain-of-custody records) automation, response times, system utilization, and service quality through technology optimization and operational enhancements.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and technology owners to support new capabilities, integrations, testing, and operational adoption.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing GSOC organization through coaching, mentoring, training, career development, succession planning, and performance management across all shifts.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous learning.

  • Own the operational management of GSOC staffing partners, including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, scheduling, coaching, quality assurance, performance management, and vendor accountability against established SLAs.

  • Ensure staffing levels, shift coverage, and operational readiness meet business requirements as Crusoe continues to grow.

Program Growth & Operational Excellence

  • Develop scalable operating models, onboarding playbooks, and standardized procedures that enable new facilities, regions, and business units to be efficiently integrated into GSOC operations.

  • Drive operational maturity through process improvement initiatives, tabletop exercises, audits, training programs, and recurring program reviews.

  • Own and be accountable for the GSOC's operational KPIs end to end - spanning detection and response performance, security system and device health and availability, alarm and intelligence quality, SOP compliance, GSOC evidence completeness, access log retention health, operator training, and investigative case management and hold the team and staffing vendors to defined targets through dashboards, recurring reviews, and executive reporting.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operational risk, and elevate the overall maturity of the GSOC.

Compliance and Audit Support

  • Ensure GSOC operations, logging, and records satisfy the physical-security control requirements of Crusoe’s compliance frameworks (ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2), including access monitoring, alarm response, visitor management, and incident documentation.

  • Maintain audit-ready evidence: access logs, alarm and event records, response timelines, and SOP adherence, with defined retention aligned to control and customer contract requirements.

Executive & Employee Support

  • Establish and maintain a white-glove service culture for every interaction with employees, executives, visitors, and business partners.

  • Provide operational support for executive travel, special events, high-profile meetings, and other sensitive business activities requiring enhanced security coordination.

  • Maintain leadership presence through participation in an on-call rotation and provide leadership support during nights, weekends, and holidays when operational needs require.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 5+ years in GSOC/Corporate Security Operations, including 2-3+ years leading shift-based teams and/or managing contract security vendors.

  • Proven experience leading 24/7 multi-shift operations and managing shift-based and/or contracted teams.

  • Demonstrated experience managing contracted security personnel and vendor selection, performance management, scheduling, and SLAs.

  • Strong working knowledge of modern GSOC technology and tools: access control, video and AI-driven video analytics, investigative and open-source databases, mass notification, and incident-management and protective-intelligence platforms; with the ability to operate and optimize such systems rather than select them.

  • Working familiarity with physical-security controls under common compliance frameworks (ISO27001, SOCII Type 2, or similar / more restrictive).

  • Experience scaling operations to support organizational growth (new sites, regions, or service expansion).

  • Sound judgment and decisiveness under pressure; data-driven approach to decisions, metrics, and KPI ownership.

  • Executive-ready written and verbal communication; foundational knowledge of computer networking and telecommunications; advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Bonus Points

  • ASIS certification (CPP, PSP), Certified Security Operations Center Analyst (CSOCA); Lean Six Sigma; PMP.

  • Comprehensive understanding of GSOC policies, procedures, and industry best practices.

  • Background in intelligence analysis, emergency management, business continuity, or risk intelligence.c

  • Experience supporting a global, multi-site footprint, industrial, aerospace, manufacturing, or other data center, power generation sites and/or critical-infrastructure environments is a plus as well as time zone distributed operations.

  • Familiarity with travel-risk / duty-of-care programs.

  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Operating Conditions

  • 24/7 Global Security Operations Center supporting global business operations.

  • Rotating schedule across shifts (day, evening, overnight, weekends, holidays) to ensure leadership coverage and support critical incidents; on-call availability for escalations.

  • Occasional travel in support of growth projects and global security initiatives.

What Success Looks Like

  • Smooth, consistent day-to-day operations across all shifts, with strong SLA and KPI performance.

  • A capable, accountable team and a strong staffing-vendor partnership, with the right personnel in place.

  • The confidence of leadership, stakeholders, and partners in the GSOC's reliability and judgment, and a consistently white-glove experience for employees and executives.

  • A clear, actionable plan to scale GSOC coverage ahead of upcoming growth projects.
